If you have been following along for quite some time, you may have noticed that blue is my favorite color. Anytime I see blue on the runway, or in the color report for any given season, I go crazy! Crazy in a good way! I just love blue!
So, when I spotted so many beautiful shades of blue on the spring/summer 2019 couture runways, I was in heaven! Shades of blue are my favorite hues! I love every shade of blue imaginable. So, without further ado, let’s take a look at a few shades of blue, and a couple touches of pale green, from the spring/summer 2019 couture runways!
I’m so inspired by all these shades of blue from the spring/summer 2019 couture runways! Which color group inspires you?
Oh the humidity! We have been “enjoying” weather in the nineties over the past few days, and yesterday, the humidity was mid-west level. I had to stop and look around, just to make sure I was home and not on vacation in the middle of the country! I’m so glad I had this day to night outfit idea to wear now; which is perfect for transitioning from summer into fall.
These palazzo pants are under $20, and they are SO COMFORTABLE! They flow like a skirt, but offer the comfort of pants. Love that! They were perfect for meeting my friend Dawn for lunch at Santana Row, and also for going out to dinner with my husband later that night. Perfect day to night outfit idea for a hot summer night!
Quick shout-out for Sino at Santana Row; it is where Dawn and I enjoyed lunch. If you are local to the Bay Area, be sure to check out their dim sum. It is so good! I have eaten there multiple times, and every time I go the food is absolutely delicious. Love!
Now that I have YSL’s Studio 54 themed nail polish collection for fall, I felt inspired to add some sparkle to a day to night outfit which was lightweight enough to wear now, and well into the fall season. I just love the sparkling silver stripes on these palazzo pants, they are so festive and fun!
These pants also look chic with a slouchy tee and mules for a more casual, urban-relaxed look. I look forward to wearing them for the rest of the summer season; and well into the fall season!
Ballet flats are back! This classic shoe style is gearing up for some time in the spotlight this summer as designers give traditional ballet flats edgy touches.
The modern ballet flat, which is what is hot for summer, offers small touches such as studs, criss-cross straps, and laces; which veer slightly from the straps and laces found on real ballet shoes worn by ballerinas.
Ballet flats are so much fun to wear this summer. They offer a feminine vibe which is understated and comfortable. The sleek, no-nonsense designs offers a chic look, and lightweight feel, for tired summer feet. These are the softest shoe style out there!
I love wearing ballet flats after a day in heels, or if I just want to be comfortable. They look great with maxi skirts, midi skirts, and paired with shorts and a cute top. Ballet flats are also a great alternative to sandals on hot days when we forget to touch up our pedicure. haha, love that!
Another way I like to wear my ballet flats is with straight jeans, a tee, and a statement handbag. They are the ultimate chic yet understated shoe. Love!
Are you are fan of ballet flats? Do you plan to wear this emerging trend?
