Happy National Fragrance Day! Today we celebrate all of our favorite fragrances, but we do not wear them all at once! haha
Today, wear your favorite fragrance and spray on a little extra to leave a bit of a trail behind you when walk. Why not? It is National Fragrance Day after all. Let’s bring back the fragrance trail and show off our fabulous scents! At least for today.
To celebrate National Fragrance Day, I am sharing my current favorites with you. I may also indulge in a new bottle! Since spring just started, it is a great time to choose a new floral scent for the warmer weather. What are your favorite spring scents?
Thanks for stopping by! Of course, I am positive you smell fabulous.
Fall is upon us, this means it is time to store our sweet florals, fruity florals, coconut perfumes, and citrus based scents. With cooler weather comes the time for warm bases with woody notes, vanilla notes and amber. The fall is the perfect time to wear warm florals, woods, gourmands, and smoky scents. Love this time of year!
This is the time of year when we can wear heavier perfumes and get away with it. I love a good woody floral or vanilla based scent which is not too sweet during the autumn months. Classic perfumes such as Chanel no. 5 and Bond no. 9 Nuits de Noho are also ideal this time of year. I’m wearing Nuits de Noho as we speak! Love!
So, without further ado, here are my favorite fragrances for the fall season, curated into the scrolling widget below. Which one is your favorite?
Throughout the decades there have been fragrance trends, hot selling perfume products, and heavily advertised fragrances. Despite this money-making industry and push to make a perfume popular, there are certain fragrance brands, designers, and scents which have withstood the test of time, changing tastes, trends, and lack of heavy advertising. These are the classics and the best-selling fragrances of our time.
Chances are, you have heard of most, if not all, of these perfumes. There are different levels of popular and classic fragrances. We have pure perfume, eau de parfum, eau de toilette, cologne, and eau de cologne. When you sort through these timeless scents, you will also see price points barely over one hundred dollars and others in the hundreds; as if they are trying to be a thousand dollars! This means, there is a classic fragrance in every price point, and for everyone. You won’t have to break the bank to purchase an investment fragrance. Love that!
What I love about these classic perfumes is that they transcend generation. Fragrances which were popular in the 1980s are still popular now, which means the silent gen, boomers, GenX, Millennials, and GenZ are all fans of these timeless perfumes. Isn’t that fabulous? We might not agree on many topics, but we can all agree a beautiful fragrance transcends time and generation.
I showcased my favorite best-selling fragrances in the collage above, but there are many more! Scroll through the shopping widget below to see all the fragrances which are classic, best-selling, and have been around for ages.
What is your favorite classic perfume? I love don’t be shy by Kilian, Chanel no. 5 and everything from Lancome.
Bookmark this page for the holidays! These are not only great investments, but they will also make the perfect holiday gift! Love!
