Christmas shopping is here! In order to ease the pain of holiday shopping, and in order to avoid the crazy crowds at the stores, I have assembled the perfect handbag gift ideas for the handbag fan on your Christmas shopping list. Welcome to my handbag gift guide 2016!

Handbags make great holiday gifts. Who wouldn’t love a purse for Christmas, Hanukkah, or any holiday this season? I know I would love to see a handbag under the Christmas tree this year!! (if my hubby is reading this-anything Gucci will do-especially this one) 😉

When gifting a handbag this holiday season, you don’t want to buy something which is too avant-garde or “out there.” It is best to err on the conservative side when giving the gift of a handbag. I would recommend picking something which is classic, and easy to wear on a daily basis.

I scoured the web for the perfect classic, and wearable handbags, which are not only on trend, they will make perfect gifts! Love it!

My absolute favorite handbag gift ideas are featured above in the shoppable picture. If you like something, feel free to click on it and you will be taken to a shop where you can buy it! Or, if nothing tickles your fancy above, I have curated plenty of fabulous handbags for the gift giving season into the shopping widget below. I hope you love them! The handbag fan you are shopping for sure will!

Happy shopping, and have a great holiday season!

Wearing: red holiday earrings / MAC Lipstick / long sleeve tee / faux fur chevron jacket / boot cut jeans (old, similar pair here on sale!!) / Chloe Kurtis in purple / sparkling druzy ring / Diorific Golden nail polish / warm winter booties

The San Francisco Bay Area has been unusually warm this month. So, in order to cool off, and feel some fall weather, we headed up to Truckee for Veteran’s Day Weekend.

If you are not familiar with the Lake Tahoe area, Truckee is a town right off highway 80 in California. We love Truckee because we can avoid the crowds around the lake during the summer months, and we can easily get to the ski resort of our choice during the winter months. During the off-season, which is right now, we can hop on highway 80 and explore the area.

I purchased this chevron, faux fur jacket about a month ago and have been itching to wear it. The cool morning temperatures, and evening temperatures in the Lake Tahoe area this past weekend were perfect for the jacket since they hovered in the 30’s and 40’s. During the middle of the day, when temperatures reached the high 60’s, I just wore the tee shirt.

This chevron faux fur jacket is so much fun to wear! It has a 1970s vibe which is why I paired it with flare jeans. Although it was a little too “city” for the Tahoe area, where people wear ski jackets and casual outerwear, it was fun to wear anyway. No-one gave me side-eye, so I think it was OK. haha

I am looking forward to wearing it as temperatures drop in the Bay Area at the end of the fall season, and into the winter season.

Thanks for stopping by!

XOXO

Green fall florals in New York

Wearing: Chanel sunglasses / Banana Republic maxi fall floral dress / Kendra Scott earrings / MAC Lipstick / Chloe handbag / Kendra Scott ring set c/o / Kendra Scott nail polish c/o / Sam Edelman booties (sold out, similar pair online here and here)

Ah! This dress! Have you ever worn something and received compliments everywhere you go? That was this dress in New York! I wore this dress during New York Fashion Week, and to have fashion industry professionals compliment my dress; it was like a dream come true! I couldn’t believe it! I now know, this dress will get worn by me A LOT during the fall season! Love!

Fall florals are a huge trend this fall season. So it is fun to have at least one item in your closet to rock this trend with. This dress is an easy way to wear fall florals. I love how it moves and flows as I walk. It also happens to be quite comfortable! Love that!

Since I was running from show to show, I chose to pair my fall floral dress with low heeled booties. These booties are super comfortable, and helped carry me through the day. Unfortunately they are sold out, but you can find a similar, low-heel pair online here, and a fringe pair here.

I wore this fall floral maxi dress on day five of New York Fashion Week. Day five was a busy day! I attended Irina Vitjaz, Taoray Wang, Leanne Marshall, Vivienne Tam, Anniesa Hasibuan, and I also went to the RewardStyle blogger party. I was on the go! To see coverage of these shows, please check out my NYFW recap online here.

The weather was much cooler on day five than it had been previously in the week. This gave me the opportunity to wear this dress. I was so thankful the humid heat was over! I do not function well in hot humidity. I grew up in the mild climate of the San Francisco Bay Area, I am not accustomed to east coast humidity. It really does me in!

Want to see what’s hot for spring 2017 from the runways of New York? Check out my NYFW trend report online here. I love sharing with you all the fabulous new trends for spring coming out of New York!
