Sometimes we have items in our closet which we pair with one or two other items and wear them together throughout the season. This season, my burgundy satin skirt hasn’t been worn with the same pieces twice! I wear it about once or twice a week, and the outfit is always different. I don’t always photograph it, but three times I did! So, the three times I snaped a pic are shown here in this post.

I wanted to share this with you because for a skirt under $50, I am wearing it more than anything in my closet! It is really comfortable and easy to dress up or down. I can also adjust the outfit for the weather. As the weather cools down, I will start pairing it with long sleeves and jackets.

As the holiday season approaches, this satin skirt can also be worn with a sequin top, velvet top, and holiday sweater. Love that! So, buckle up, you will see me in this satin skirt many more times this year. Love it!

OK, first off, the reason I am walking in every photo in this post is because I have found it is the best way to see the side stripe on the side of these jeans; so please don’t laugh at me too hard 😉

If you’ve been following along for awhile, you know I repeat favorite items from my closet over, and over, and over again! Right now, I have noticed that a ton of my outfits on the blog in 2018 feature these striped jeans! It is not really a surprise because even if I don’t photograph my outfit, this is the first pair of jeans I reach for in the morning.

There is something to be said about a pair of jeans that offers both comfort and style. These jeans are soooooo soft, they are great on days when I am tired and just want to throw something on; yet they are ideal for dressy denim looks due to the silhouette, the side stripe details, and the raw edge. I just love them!

These jeans have proven to be easy to wear with flat shoes, boots, sandals, and heels. They really go with any shoe! I love wearing them with flat mules, boots, and my block heel slides! One of these days I plan to wear them with block heeled pumps for night out on the town.

Wearing classic black Gucci Princeton Mules

I can’t get enough of my . . . Gucci Princeton Mules in classic black! When the Gucci Princeton Mules first started trending last year, I instantly fell in love. They offer classic, effortless styling with just a bit of understated glam. This is totally me!

My personal style is California Casual with a touch of glam. So when the Gucci mules started appearing everywhere, I knew I needed a pair. Although they have been designed in so many different colors and patterns; it was the classic black style which drew my eye. I knew I would wear them often; and I was right!

This pair of classic black, Gucci Princeton Mules has been in my closet for a year now. I have worn them throughout the year, in all four seasons. You can see in this post a sample of the outfits I have worn them with; and this is only what has been photographed!

This is a pair of shoes I reach for several times per week; and if my feet hurt from another pair of shoes, I slip into my Gucci mules mid-day for instant comfort. These really are a true pair of go-to shoes. They are comfortable, effortless, and easy to walk in. Last summer, I walked all over Chinatown with my family in these mules, and they were amazingly comfortable!

As an alternative to flats, I find myself reaching for my Gucci Princeton Mules so often that my classic black flats are collecting dust; no joke! I can’t remember the last time I wore any pair of flats other then my Gucci mules!

In the past, I have talked about investment dressing and owning closet staples which can last through anything. These Gucci Princeton Mules are a prime example of an investment piece every fashionista needs in her closet. They are truly classic, and a must-have! I would love to own another pair in a different color; or perhaps indulge in an embroidered pair!
