I am a sucker for a product with a cause. I am also a sucker for a fabulous sandal! So, when the two are combined, the world is a better place 😉

As a fan of Stuart Weitzman, I was overjoyed to receive an email advertising his spring 2015 Leg Wrap sandal. Not only have I been eyeing this beautiful pair of sandals since they first hit his website a few weeks ago, I was now given a reason to actually buy a pair! Proceeds from the sale of Stuart Weitzman’s Leg Wrap sandal go directly to Dr. Marsha A. Moses Cancer Research Initiatives. Information on her work here. Love that!

Stuart Weitzman’s Leg Wrap sandal Dr. Marsha A. Moses Cancer Research Initiatives is a beautiful on-trend shoe which is fabulous for the spring 2015 season. The Leg Wrap Sandal benefiting Dr. Marsha A. Moses Cancer Research Initiatives by Stuart Weitzman are made in red, yellow, black, denim, and platinum noir which is a beautiful, soft metallic hue.

Shoes with ties, wraps, and straps are hot for the warm weather season. Not only is the shoe itself on-trend, it is a versatile piece! These fabulous high heeled sandals can easily be worn with a pair of this season’s boot cut or flare jeans, to spice up a casual look, or paired with a dress for evening occasions. The black or platinum noir pair are perfect for pairing with semi-formal attire, cocktail dresses, and even gala gowns! Now how’s that for versatility?!

I am trying to decide whether to purchase the denim, black, or platinum noir pair of Stuart Weitzman’s Leg Wrap Sandal. Which color do you love?

Christian Louboutin True Blue nail polish for spring 2015

Christian Louboutin’s spring 2015 “Python Vulcano Limited Edition Nail Colour Coffret” contains three, beautiful hues for the warm weather season. The three colors include, Salonu, Hot Chick, and True Blue. These beautiful nail colors can be used together to create nail art, or worn separately on their own. Either way, Christian Louboutin’s spring 2015 nail polish collection offers everything you need in a box for the spring season. Love that!

The thin brushes on Christain Louboutin’s nail polishes are ideal for nail art. If you are like me and you like to wear a solid color, they are a little bit cumbersome and difficult to manage. The long stem of the brush makes the painting tool unbalanced. If you don’t mind a little bit of a hassle while you paint your nails, then the result is worth the effort. Christian Louboutin’s nail polish is fabulous. It offers stunning color and it is long lasting. It also does not use toxic ingredients which can seep through your nails into your blood stream. Love that!

Since blue is my favorite color, I was excited to test out True Blue by Christian Louboutin from the spring 2015 collection. This beautiful blue hue offers a remarkable cobalt blue color. It is about one to two shades darker than medium blue, and it captures the essences of cobalt blue and also royal blue perfectly. True Blue by Christian Louboutin teeters between the cold and warm spectrum of color. This makes it an easy color to wear with both cool and warm color tones. Easy to match anything I wear = LOVE!

I tested out Christian Louboutin True Blue nail polish with two coats of color and one base coat; no top coat. The nail polish lasted for eight days before chipping! I absolutely adore this shade of blue, and I look forward to wearing Christian Louboutin True Blue nail polish this spring 2015 season.

February and March are always confusing months for a wardrobe. One day it will be eighty degrees and perfect weather, the next next day it can drop down to sixty degrees and start to rain. Of course, since we have a drought in the San Francisco Bay Area, we are seeing more of those eighty degree, pool days rather than the cooler, rainy days. Oh how we wish for rain! But I digress. . .

Since the weather is transitioning from winter into spring, our wardrobe needs to be able to transition too. This is why I love skirts in thick fabrics which can easily be worn with tights on cool days, and bare legs on warmer days. This Milly skirt fits the transitional bill. It has a black band at the top, covered by my shirt-sorry about that, which allows it to be worn with black tights, and a black wool coat for cool days. On warmer days, the bright colors and the festive pattern work well for a spring look. Love that!

I wore this skirt at fashion week in early February when temperatures dropped below ten degrees. I have never been so cold in my life! Thankfully, this skirt is easy to layer and added a little bright color to the dreary days in New York. My friend Jenna snapped a few pictures of me inside the tents between shows because it was way too cold to take pictures outside. Plus, I wanted to have one last photo opp with the Mercedes Benz display. This was the last fashion week in New York they would be sponsoring so I needed a little souvenir. 😉

Now that the weather is starting to warm up, and it is officially spring, I look forward to wearing this skirt with less layers; and eventually short sleeves as we head towards summer!

Skirts are my favorite transitional pieces from winter into spring, what is your favorite way to transition between seasons?
