February is “Go Red for Women” month; and Friday, February 5, 2021, is National Wear Red Day. Why are we wearing red this month you ask? Well, thank you for asking! Wearing red is an easy way to help raise awareness about heart disease. Heart disease is the number one killer of women; so it is important that women know what signs to look for, and how to stay healthy so that we can all stay ahead of heart disease, and keep ourselves heart healthy.

It’s always fun to find local shops which offer both fashionable and local products. When I learned about The Perfect Provenance in downtown Tiburon, I was thrilled to learn we had a fabulous shop right here in the Bay Area which offers exactly that!

As far as safety is concerned, everyone inside The Perfect Provenance is wearing a mask; and as a customer, you will too. It’s very clean and safe; and fun! You will love browsing and shopping in-store, just as I did. It is full-scale retail therapy. Love!
I enjoyed trying on clothing in the dressing rooms. It was safe and fun to see which items from the store I wanted to leave with. I ended up snapping up a top, sweater, dress, earrings, olive oil and vinegar (of course), and a candle. I love getting a few things for myself as well as getting a jump start on my holiday gift shopping! It is a one-stop-shop!
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and this is such an important cause. At this point in my life, it is no longer just relatives in my family I have known with breast cancer, it is now my peers and friends from throughout my life. This is a disease that touches almost all of us. While many women survive, some do not; including my grandmother who tragically lost her life, when my Mother was young, to breast cancer. This is why it is so important for all us to get annual mammograms once we turn forty, and to also do self exams at home. Always be on the lookout for signs of abnormalities too!
