Designer sales to kick off summer 2017

The designer sales are here! This means we can all find fabulous items from Chloe, Valentino, Gucci, Manolo Blahnik, Stella McCartney, Balenciaga, Aquazzura, and more on major sale! Yay!

I’m in shock! My favorite leopard print pumps are on major sale! These pumps are classic, pointy tote high heels which are made from suede and offer a classic leopard print. They are super comfortable, and I have actually had to run in them! No joke! My middle child used to like to run away from us, and I had to chase her down so she would not run into the street while wearing these heels a couple of years ago. Thankfully she has outgrown the dangerous running habit; seriously, it was stressful!

If you are looking for a fabulous pair of pumps, these are perfect! They are comfortable, classic, and since leopard print is hot for summer 2017, and fall 2017, they are on trend! Love that!

In addition to my beloved heels being on major sale, there are a few Chloe Drew’s on sale! I have one in off-white and I love it. If you have been eyeing the Chloe Drew, now is the time to snap one up!

I also found a couple of Balenciaga City Tote’s on sale! Eeeek! They NEVER go on sale. I bought a City Tote back in 2009 and I still love it. These are great casual handbags which are also extremely classic. If you have been on the fence about getting one, this is a great opportunity to grab one at a great price!

There are so many amazing deals right now so I rounded them up and placed my favorites in the collage below.

There are so many fabulous designer items on sale around the web right now. I sorted through them all and found the best deals on classic and on-trend items I think you would love. I know I love them!! Without further adieu, here are my picks from the designer sales!

For years I have wished I owned the perfect black party suit. There are so many events during the holiday season, as well as throughout the year, when a formal suit would be the perfect attire for the occasion. I was thrilled when L’Wren Scott’s collection for Banana Republic debuted and it included the perfect dressy suit. I have already worn the suit to the San Jose Ballet’s “Nutcracker” and I am looking forward to wearing the suit to many more events this season. In addition to being worn as a suit, the sparkling pencil skirt can be paired with a sequin sweater while the blazer can worn over a silk skirt, trousers or even jeans for a girl’s night out! Love this!

Do you have a special occasion suit? If so, do you find yourself wearing it often?

Silver and black

Photos: Earrings: Kathy Kamei (similar here)/ Lipstick: c/o Laura Mercier Mocha Myth / Top: BCBG (on sale!) / Bracelet: c/o Twisted Silver (use code INSIDERS for 15% off) / Handbag: Chanel (also love SAVE or SPLURGE) / Nail Polish: Chanel Magic / Pants: Gap / Shoes: Manolo Blahnik

The weather has warmed up a little bit here in the San Francisco Bay Area which has allowed me to dress lighter than last week and enjoy a few rays of sunshine. Over the weekend I felt like wearing silver and black when spending time with my family and enjoying holiday activities with the kids. The studded sweater I wore was warm and cozy without being too heavy, which was perfect for the sixty degree weather we enjoyed. I am very thankful I found this sweater on sale at the BCBG store at Santana Row in San Jose!

I am also in love with these silver jeans from the Gap. They are comfortable and I was able to buy them in ankle length. Since I am only 5’4″ the ankle length is perfect. When I purchase regular length jeans or pants I always have to hem them or roll them up. These jeans are an easy way to wear the metallic trend this season, and into spring 2014! I am looking forward to pairing them with other colors both casually and dressy.

Have you been wearing the metallic trend this season? If so, what is your favorite metallic hue?
