L’Occitane Vanilla Bouquet

L’Occitane hand cream is an oldie but a goodie. If you searched for the perfect, non-greasy hand cream early in your life, you most certainly came across L’Occitane hand cream. It is famous for it’s non-greasy formula and its’ ability to repair hands. But, did you know there are additional scents beyond the standard shea butter fragrance? There are!

My absolute favorite scent from the L’Occitane hand cream collection is Vanilla Bouquet. You might think this is a traditional vanilla bean fragrance, but I can assure, it is not. In fact, L’Occitane Vanilla Bouquet does not really smell like vanilla at all. It is a very soft, floral scent which is light and works well all year long. I am in love with it!

In addition to L’Occitane hand cream in vanilla bouquet, there are additional skin care products with this scent. I am currently loving the body cream, which is thick and moisturizing, as well as beautifully scented! Love!

If you are looking for hand cream which does its’ job, and accompanying skin care products, you might fall in love with L’Occitane hand cream in vanilla bouquet. I know I did!

So, without further ado, I rate L’Occitane hand cream vanilla bouquet five out of five stars! Love it!

Have you tried L’Occitane hand cream yet? If not, I highly recommend giving it a try. It quickly repairs hands and has been a favorite since the 1990s.

Thanks for stopping by!

Diptyque Citronnelle summer body spray review

diptyque citronelle candle and body spray review

OK, raise your hand if you get eaten alive by bugs. My hand is way up! I cannot tell you how annoying it is to be the magnet of a group for mosquitoes and more.

I don’t mind spraying myself with bug spray if I am going camping or hiking, but if I am eating al fresco or going to an outdoor event, I don’t want to be smelly and sticky! Yuck! So, while I love using my bug repellant bracelets for hiking and camping, I want to use something more discreet for a party, patio dining, and the like.

So, when I spotted this Citronelle summer body spray from Diptyque, I was thrilled! It is a non-sticky, perfume-like bug spray! Love that! I can apply it just like I would any EDT or EDP and it works like a charm. I feel like this summer body spray works even better than just putting a candle on the table.

Speaking of candles, Diptyque makes a Citronelle candle too! Love it! Of course, it has the sweet smell of citronella but it looks quite chic in comparison to the typical bug repelling candle. It really does work too. Yay!

In case you are wondering what the summer body spray smells like, well, it smells like a floral citronella candle. It smells a thousand times better than bug spray, in my opinion. That being said, people will guess what you are wearing; not in a bad way. It does smell good! After all, it is Diptyque!

I will rate Diptyque Citronelle summer body spray five out of five stars! Love!

Thanks for stopping by!

Summer fragrances from top left: Jo Malone “Mallow on the Moor” (floral) / diptyque “Ilio edt” (floral) / Laura Mercier “Ambre Vanilla” (warm gourmand) / diptyque “Citronnelle Geranium” (fruity floral-citrus & bug spray) / Chanel no. 5 / Lavanila “Vanilla Coconut” light gourmand) /

Summer is here, which means warmer weather and a new fragrance to enjoy. Love that!

When temperature soar, it is a good idea to lighten up your perfume. If you wear something heavy, it may not, shall we say, perspire well? Yes, we will put it that way.

The summer months are a great time to explore floral fragrances, vanilla scents, and of course, coconut! There is something about coconut and vanilla together which evokes a summer vibe. Love that! My favorite summer fragrance is this Vanilla Coconut scent from Lavanila. I love the vacation vibes it gives out.

Plagued by bugs when it heats up? Me too! I am dying to try this new, limited-edition scent from diptyque which promises to be a fruity floral and a citronella candle on your skin. I’m in! I am purchasing it and will give you a review soon! So, stay tuned. . .

Of course, classic Chanel no. 5 is always appropriate and anything fun and fruity works perfectly in the heat. What are some of your favorite summer scents?
