Molton Brown is well loved for their fabulous line of bath & body products, candles and grooming products. As a longtime fan of Molton Brown’s Rose Granati hand lotion and hand soap, I was thrilled when Molton Brown sent me their line of Indian Cress shampoo and conditioner to test out.

I tend to have dry hair since I spend a lot of time outdoors in the sun and in the swimming pool. One of the biggest challenges I face is finding shampoo and conditioner for my weather-beaten, chlorine ridden hair. I also suffer from breakage due to my dry hair which loves to tangle up on me!

Molton Brown’s Indian Cress shampoo and conditioner smells amazing in the bottle. The combination of jasmine, honeysuckle and sandalwood creates a beautiful, woody floral fragrance experience for the shower. Love that!

I used Molton Brown’s Indian Cress shampoo and conditioner for ten days; washing and conditioning my hair every-day. After the first day I started to see an improvement in my hair! By the fourth day, my hair felt soft and looked shinier than I had seen it in years. By day ten, I felt like my hair was new. I was actually shocked at how soft, shiny and well-moisturized my hair was! This was definitely hair heaven J

I am really excited to use Molton Brown’s shampoo and conditioner every-day. When my Indian Cress bottles are used up, I plan on trying out the other fragrances in Molton Brown’s hair care line.

Estee Lauder Chrome Violet nail polish review

I am drawn to any shade of purple, as well as metallics; especially when it comes to nail polish. When I saw “Chrome Violet” nail polish from Estee Lauder I had to give it try.

In the bottle, “Chrome Violet” by Estee Lauder looks like a pewter hue. Not the case when applied! Estee Lauder’s “Chrome Violet” offers a distinct violet hue with pewter undertones which offers a cool tone and an easy color to wear for fall 2013. Love that!

Fall 2013 is all about shades of wine, purple, navy, red, cobalt and neutrals. “Chrome Violet” by Estee Lauder plays well with all of these colors; regardless of their cold or warm undertones. Although “Chrome Violet” looks amazing with silver and pewter colored metals, it does not clash with yellow gold and blends easily with gold-tone jewelry. Perfect!

Estee Lauder’s “Chrome Violet” nail polish applies quickly and very thick. I found I needed to polish each finger quickly or the polish would begin to dry and clump if I ran the brush back over the paint. This was a bit of challenge which resulted in four fingers needing to be redone; it was worth the hassle. “Chrome Violet” nail polish by Estee Lauder only needed one coat of color. The end result is a slightly matte, metallic violet hue which is extremely chip resistant. Love!

I was able to wear “Chrome Violet” nail polish by Estee Lauder for six days before my nails showed growth at the bottom and needed to be repolished. They did not chip at the tips despite some heavy housework!

Laura Mecier Weightless Lip Colour matte lipstick review

Laura Mercier’s new fall 2013 beauty collection, “Dark Spell,” includes a fabulous new collection of lipsticks; “Rouge Nouveau Weightless Lip Colour.” This amazing new line of lipsticks is offered in three types; sheer, matte and cream.
The new  “Rouge Nouveau Weightless Lip Colour” collection offers twelve lip colors which work perfectly with the current beauty and color trends for the fall 2013 season. In addition to blending well with current trends, the collection offers classic appeal which transcends trends. Love that! When Laura Mercier sent me “Myth,” which is one of the matte lip colors from the  “Rouge Nouveau Weightless Lip Colour.” collection, I was thrilled! This is a beautiful, neutral, dark beige hue which works well with fall’s color palette. I especially like how “Myth” compliments apparel in shades of red, orange, burgundy, yellow and brown.
I tested “Myth” by not applying any lip balm in the morning. I went straight to applying “Myth” on my lips. The lipstick was moisturizing and long lasting. “Myth” stayed put and looked smooth all day long! Love it! I am definitely looking forward to adding more colors from Laura Mercier’s new  “Rouge Nouveau Weightless Lip Colour” collection to my beauty collection and I highly recommend adding it to yours!
