We did a quick road trip to Long Beach to visit our daughter, and the weather was beautiful! We stayed close to the water this time and were able to walk around the pier and downtown. It was a relaxing day and nice to be able to see our daughter.
I wore comfy sneakers for walking around and dressed casually. We enjoyed the Halloween decor on the Shoreline Pier and the views of the water.
It was fun to see the decorations and admire the view. For lunch, we had a delicious meal at Gladstone’s Long Beach. Our table was outside and we had a beautiful view of the water. It was relaxing and perfect! I enjoyed the Shrimp Enchiladas. They were delicious; highly recommend!

Next time you are in Southern California, don’t skip Long Beach! The pier is really nice and there are a lot of really good places to eat.
