Chanel Accessoire nail polish for spring 2013 review

Chanel’s spring 2013 nail polish colors, Accessoire, Fracas and Emprise have arrived; and they are right on trend with the upcoming warm weather seasons’ nail trends. Autumn shades of burgundy and navy as well as spring colors including baby pink, white, beige and nude are hot for spring. In fact, classic red and funky shades of blue and green are also hot for spring! So many nail trends!

Chanel Accessoire nail polish from the Chanel’s spring 2013 collection is a deep, classic shade of burgundy with a little bit of brown. The hue is actually easy to wear right now since it is still winter and many of the ensembles we are putting together include fall’s color palette. Accessoire by Chanel works perfectly as a transitional color from winter into spring. Love that!

The burgundy or oxblood hue feels more like a fall nail color rather than a spring hue, but for those who are not ready to leap into spring just yet, Chanel Accessoire is the perfect nail polish to slowly transition from winter 2013 into spring 2013.

We tested Chanel Accessoire with one base coat and two coats of color; no top coat. The polish lasted six days without chipping. We also washed dishes without gloves and still, no chipping! Love that!

Chanel Accessoire nail polish for spring 2013 can be found at Chanel boutiques as well as Chanel counters. Happy shopping, and stay fabulous

Twisted Silver Techno earrings for spring 2013

Spring 2013 is whimsical and lighthearted. Jewelry for the upcoming warm weather season is equally carefree. With the vivid pastel trend, bright color trend and neon trend, it is important for spring 2013 to wear jewelry which mimics the “anything-but-understated” vibe of the season without competing with apparel.

Twisted Silver’s new “Techno” earrings are perfect for the upcoming spring 2013 season. The large and bold look of the earrings combined with the soft brass color makes them easy to wear with all of springs’ color trends. They also happen to be easy to wear from day into evening; love that!

The new “Techno” earrings from Twisted Silver also work well with the print trend for spring 2013. Florals, painterly prints, geometric patterns, color blocking and more are hot looks for fabric this spring. Twisted Silver’s “Techno” earrings blend well with all of the print trends; making them instant “go-to” earrings for the season. Fabulous!

The pointed toe for spring 2013

Pointed toe shoes are classic and the toe style tends to swing in and out of style every few years. For spring 2013, pointed toe shoes are hotter than hot; so hot, they burn! The pointed toe is everywhere this upcoming spring season; making the round toe and almond toe feeling oh-so-last-year! Even the open toe is feeling a little left out.

Pointed toes are on every shoe style imaginable including high heels, low heels, kitten heels (yes-they are coming back), wedges and flats. The most important pointed toe of the season is proving to be the classic 4” pump as Fashionistas and shoe fans everywhere are flocking to this classic style from designers such as Manolo Blahnik, Christian Louboutin, Valentino, Prada and more.

The pointed toe is being shown in every fabrication imaginable including suede, leather, faux leather, mirrored metallics, lace, PVC, fabrics and pony hair. The ladylike and demure style is also being decorated with edgy embellishments including studs and spikes.

Many shoe fans will find pointed toe shoes stored in the back of the closet from seasons’ past; but it is always fun to add to one’s collection! This spring 2013 season, look for pastel hues or bright colors on a 4” heeled pump. If you are feeling frisky, look for additional touches such as studs or spikes. Love this!

Of course there is one warning with the pointed toe. This shoe style tends to have less room in the toe box than other toe styles. Many Fashionistas find themselves wearing a half size up in pointed toe shoes. Therefore, don’t worry about the size on the box; it is more important to find the right fit. After all, nothing is more unfashionable than not being able to walk L Happy shopping, walking and of course, stay fabulous
