How cute is this cold shoulder, striped tee by Oh Concept! I am in love with it! This lightweight tee is made from the softest cotton, and looks so cute with shorts, jeans, and midi skirts. I find myself reaching for it often. Oh Concept makes the best casual-wear; they have great styles which can be worn daily. Love that!

This outfit was super comfortable the other day when I wore it to meet up with my friend Dawn from Fashion Should Be Fun. We met up at Santana Row for a yummy lunch at Straits, and chatted the day away! This outfit was perfect for a day on the Row.

This fall, we are seeing A LOT less distressed denim, and more clean denim. As we move towards the end of summer shopping, and start to organize for fall, it is important to only buy things which will easily transition from summer into fall. These jeans do the trick!

Another fall trend to watch is the continuation of ties, cold shoulders, and asymmetrical lines. I love this Oh Concept tee because it hits all the bullet points for both the current summer trends, and the incoming fall trends. This will be a fabulous tee to wear for the rest of summer, as well as for transitioning into the fall season. The weather here in the Bay Area does not cool down until very late October, so an on trend tee to wear with jeans is an easy, and perfect, way to move into fall without wearing something too heavy for the weather. Love!

Beach season is here! Don’t let the morning fog in these photos fool you; it turned out to be a beautiful day at Capitola Beach! Over the weekend, we took the kids to the beach. We stopped at Zelda’s first for brunch; they have the best hot chocolate! Then, the kids built a little sand town on the beach while I dove into a new book. My friend Laura from Have-Need-Want lives close-by, so she walked over to the beach to say hi! My teen daughter loved meeting her baby. So fun!

This affordable swimsuit cover up, which doubles as a dress, was perfect for the day. It was easy to wear to brunch, for a stroll through town, and on the beach! With high heel sandals, this cover up would make a cute sun dress for date night on a hot day! I love how versatile this affordable swimsuit cover up is for the summer months. The weather has been so mild in the morning lately! Thanks to the fog, which has been hovering over the Santa Cruz Mountains overnight and clears just in time for the day to start. This type of weather allows me to wear jeans; and definitely calls for layers!

I wore this outfit the other day to meet up with my friend Dawn from Fashion Should be Fun at Santana Row. It was perfect because the layers allowed me to peel back the kimono and just wear the tee as the day wore on. If you live in the Bay Area, or any area near the ocean, you may be accustomed to micro-climates. These micro-climates demand we dress in layers! Without layers, our clothing will either be to hot, or too cold. Layers allow us to stay comfortable all day! Love that!

Did you notice these major hoop earrings! I need to give a shout-out to Sheila Fajl. Her jewelry is so beautiful! These hoop earrings are a fabulous closet staple, and they are lightweight! I love comfortable earrings with style; and these hit all the buttons! They also happen to be 18K gold plate. Love that! You can find her jewelry collection on her website.

Kimonos, denim shirts or jackets, and wraps, are key during the summer months to stay comfortable. How do you layer up when your temperatures fluctuate during the day?
