There are so many pretty nail polish colors for the spring 2022 season! The nail polish trends for spring include traditional spring pastels, shades of classic rose, and neutral putty; if rose and pastel hues are not your thing.

I am having a hard time choosing which nail polish trend I love best. My favorite color for spring is definitely Chanel Riviera, which is an edgy, pastel yellow. Of course, I also love all of the rose shades, which are perfect for a more classic look. Dior Balade and Chanel Terra Rosa are very similar, dark rose hues, and I love them both. It is hard to say which one I love more! What do you think?

If you work in a conservative environment, one of the putty hues, a pastel pink, or a shade of rose will work perfectly for you. Hey, this season there is a lot to choose from if your work environment restricts your nail color! That is good luck! Love that!

Dior Palais Royal nail polish review

Dior is giving us so many new nail polish colors this year! In addition to the spring 2022 nail polish collection, Dior is also adding neutral hues to their collection; some are permanent, and some are limited edition.

The new Dior Palais Royal nail polish color is one of two dark taupe hues the iconic design house has added to their collection, and it is fabulous.

The lighter of the two new taupe’s, Dior Palais Royal is a great color to wear now, and into the spring season. If you aren’t into trendy nail polish hues, and classic pink isn’t your thing, this grown-up taupe might be the color you are looking for in the new year. It’s a classic taupe with a slight tan lean, and very slight purple undertone. Palais Royal is a neutral hue you can wear during the day, and for evening occasions. It’s classic and versatile, love that!

I tested out Dior Palais Royal with one base coat, and two coats of color. Of course, it stands up to daily wear and tear without chipping, just like other Dior polishes. I did not use a top coat, but I feel like the Dior Opal top coat would really enhance this color and make it pretty. I will definitely wear it with the top coat next time!

Dior Balade nail polish review

How pretty is this new nail polish color from Dior? Balade by Dior is a new nail polish hue introduced during the spring 2022 beauty season. While not part of the spring 2022 nail polish collection, Dior Balade is right on trend for the upcoming warm weather season.

Dark rose hues are hot for spring in the world of nail polish, and Dior’s version of this beauty trend is right on target. Balade is a cream nail polish with a beautiful color saturation. It is a dark rose which is great for wearing now, and well into the spring season. If you are looking for a dark neutral, which is also on trend, this is the nail hue for you!

I tested out Dior Balade nail polish with one base coat and two coats of color. The nail polish does not streak, and offers a beautiful, even coat of color. This is a very pretty polish! I did not use a top coat, but you can add a little bit of sparkle using Dior Opal top coat from the spring 2022 beauty collection. Or, if you just want to secure the polish, you can use a regular top coat.
