Mother’s Day is fast approaching! This means it’s time to gather up some Mother’s Day gift ideas for Mother’s Day 2019. It can be hard to shop for Mom, after all, she gave you life and you want the gift to be perfect. That being said, Mom knows you love her, and you can always show your love on Mother’s Day by helping her at home, cooking a meal, giving her a giant hug, and/or making her a homemade card with love.

Of course, with this gift of love, it’s always nice to show you have been thinking about her. Why not give her something fabulous, and fashionable? I rounded up a few fabulous Mother’s Day gift ideas, at various price points, that I know Mom will love. I hope you love them too, and are able to find the perfect gift for Mom!

Can I give this camera a shout-out? I was tired of lugging my heavy DSLR around to the shows at fashion week, so I picked up this small yet mighty camera to lighten my load. It was fabulous! It goes from manual to automatic mode, and has all the bells and whistles of a DSLR; without the weight. The only thing that sets it apart from a DSLR is that you cannot change the lens, or the flash. It does have a built-in lens which zooms and in and out, but you are limited to it’s range. This is a great gift for the Mom who blogs, travels, or likes to snap pictures everywhere she goes. It’s worth the price! All of my fashion week photos were taken with it, you can see examples here. Love!

Dior nail polish spring 2019

Let’s face it, my favorite color is blue. So, when I spotted Dior Blue Drop nail polish from the Dior nail polish spring 2019 collection, I knew I had to have it in my nail polish wardrobe. Blue Drop by Dior is one of four spring 2019 nail polish colors from Dior’s spring/summer 2019 beauty collection. While all of the colors are stunning, Blue Drop is the hue that caught my eye.

The spring /summer 2019 nail polish collection from Dior includes a beautiful orange hue named “Orange Sienna,” a classic brown color named “Wild Earth,” a golden shade named “Terra Gold,” and of course, “Blue Drop.” These colors are all limited edition, and are already selling out. If you like one of them, snap it up now!

Dior nail polish is long lasting, and chip resistant. They use gel coat resins which combine and help to make the nail polish strong, shiny, and resistant to chips. I find Dior nail polish can last for well over a week without chipping during normal wear. In the photo above, I am wearing one base coat, and two coats of color. I recommend adding a top coat for the longest lasting results.

The spring 2019 season has two color trends; mixed neutrals, and bright colors. Dior’s spring 2019 nail polish collection works well with both of these color combinations, making it an easy collection to wear daily during the spring and summer months. I love the pop of blue when worn with neutral hues, as well as when worn in combination with brighter colors.

Spring stripes and cargo pants

spring 2019 stripes bay area street style gucci marmont lady bag cargo pants spring 2019

wearing: gold and white door knocker earrings / spring lipstick / oversize stripe top (sold out, also love this one) / Gucci bag / spring nail polish / Fendi ring / black cargo jeans / western style boots /

This has been a cold spring! The weather hasn’t allowed me to move into sandals, skirts, and the like. Therefore, this thin, long sleeve top paired with cargo jeans, has been the perfect solution to our chilly spring weather.

I always have a love/hate relationship with cargo pants. There is something fun about them; making cargo pants a nice alternative to jeans. That being said, the pockets always seem to add weight to my 5’4″ frame. This was the first time I tried a pair of cargo pants made out of denim. There is something different about denim. The thicker fabric seems like it would add more weight than traditional twill found on cargo pants. For some strange reason the opposite happened!

These denim cargo pants fit like baggy jeans. Although the pockets add girth near my knees, they didn’t seem to make me look heavier than I already am. The loose fit is cool on a warm day, and I like how look with this oversize tunic. The hi-lo hem on the tunic is flowing, and made from a thinner cotton fabric which is ideal for warmer days. The two pieces together make a great early spring outfit. Of course, I am still in my winter, western style boots! haha, looking for those warm temperatures still!!

What are your thought on cargo pants? Do you love them, or do you tend to shy away from them like I do?
