We are finally getting some beautiful spring weather here in the San Francisco Bay Area! I was thrilled to be able to wear some polka dots for spring, on an affordable outfit, which totaled under $75 excluding accessories over the weekend. Love!

Nothing is more satisfying then finding a great deal on clothing which is comfortable, and fashionable. These two pieces were part of my “I’m going to Target for binder paper” run a couple of weeks ago. Of course, several others things ended up in my cart including this white ruffle top, and this polka dots skirt. Both pieces are versatile for spring. I have already worn this white top several times! I showed it last week on the blog here.

Polka dots are also a trend this spring; I remember seeing them on the spring runways in New York. They make such a fun, lighthearted print for spring. The polka dots on this pencil skirt take it from a serious skirt, to a playful article of clothing. Love that!

I wore this outfit last weekend for church and brunch with my family. My cute little ten-year-old daughter took these photos last weekend for me. Isn’t she amazing!

What has ended up in your Target cart recently? Are you able to stick to your list when you go, or do you end up with unplanned purchases in your cart like me?

Casual spring day

Wearing: Kendra Scott earrings / YSL lipstick / black cotton bell sleeve top (under $25!!) / Kendra Scott ring / Christian Louboutin spring nail polish / Gap jeans (old, also love this pair the colors are more on trend for 2017 then my pair) / Mansur Gavriel handbag (mini size in stock here) / pale pink espadrilles (so comfy and under $175!!)

So have you ever gone to Target for one item and accidentally left with a cart of who-knows-what? Well, I did this a few weeks ago, only instead of a cart full of who-knows-what, I had a cart full of Who What Wear! haha

This blouse, which was part of my Target for binder paper, has turned out to be the perfect go-to black top for spring. It is comfortable, not expensive, and very on trend. Love! I have worn it with my bi-color jeans as well as my boyfriend jeans. It really goes with any casual pant style; love that!

These bi-color jeans have been in my closet since last year, and I wear them all the time! They may have stretched out a bit, but I still love them. If I wear them with wedges or heels, they hang OK. haha

My beautiful ten-year-old daughter has taken a liking to photography! She is so cute! My daughter snapped all of these photos while we were in downtown Los Gatos last week. My iPad had crashed, and would not turn on, so I had an appointment at the Apple Store to have it looked at. She came with me while they fixed it, snapped these photos, and I rewarded her with pizza from Pizza My Heart.

It was so nice to hang out with her one-on-one on a beautiful spring day! When you have three kids, sometimes it is difficult to get one-on-one time with one child. I love having that time with each of my children; it is how you really get an insight into their growing, maturing personality! So fun!

If you have multiple children, how do you break away from your busy schedule, and get one-on-one time with each of your children? I find it to be hard. I would love some tips!

Over the weekend I drove up to San Francisco with my friend Dawn Lucy of Fashion Should Be Fun. We headed up to the city for a rewardStyle class on entertaining. The class was really fun because we were not only there to socialize, we were entertained too!

The event took place at The Cheese School in the Mission district. Who knew there was a school for cheese?!?! We were taught all about pairing wine with cheese, which is very handy when choosing the menu for an event held in your home. Loved it!

In addition to wine and cheese pairings, we learned all about flower arranging. Normally when I entertain, I purchase flowers from the supermarket, put some water in the vase, add the packet, and then plop the flowers into the vase. Now that I have learned how to arrange them, I am going to be more careful, and mindful, of how I create my centerpieces. Love!

Part of the event was social. We were treated with delicious appetizers, bean salad, and beautiful decor. In addition to the atmosphere, the event was filled with local bloggers who were fun to meet, talk to, and befriend! I met so many fabulous, nice people that night! I love connecting with like-minded, local bloggers.

Before the event, Dawn and I spotted this mural a couple of blocks from The Cheese School and thought it would be fun to snap pictures of our outfits in front of it. We loved the composition of the mural. Isn’t it cool! I love the mix of showing artists painting our beautiful city, and children studying. It displays the intellectual yet artistic side of San Francisco which makes our city so fabulous.

The Mission is filled with murals, do you have a favorite one? If so, please share in the comments below!
