How could I resist this path, filled with beautiful fall leaves, in the parking lot at Stanford Shopping Center? I couldn’t! My original plan was to find some pretty holiday decor, and snap some photos in front of it, but then, I saw this path and had to change my plans immediately! Can you blame me? These fall colors are soooooo pretty!!

While it is still technically fall outside, I am in full-on holiday mode. This fall season has been so busy with my kids schedules, that I haven’t really had time to relax, or think! I am craving the holiday season because it means peaceful time with my family, moments to share with my friends, and more time to chat about fashion, style, and beauty with you! Love that!

When Chico’s sent me this black twin set as a holiday gift last week, I was thrilled! I love a good classic twin set; especially in black! This is a great twin set to reach for on casual days since it is over-sized. I gave it a little holiday flair with my green scarf from my holiday capsule wardrobe. I can definitely give it more sparkle after Thanksgiving 🙂 If you don’t own a classic twin set, you need one! Definitely check this one out, it comes in a ton of colors! Love!

There is something inherently chic and cool about winter white. Perhaps it’s the fact that it’s a soft and neutral color, which allows the beautiful hues of the holiday season shine through. Whatever the case, I love how winter white looks during the holiday season.

This winter white vest with a faux fur collar has become my favorite chic, casual piece. It really amps up an otherwise casual look. I wore this outfit out with my Mom last week when we went over to Santana Row for lunch, and to check out the beautiful holiday decor. It was fun walking about around and looking at the stores; getting holiday gift ideas!

These boots are starting to break in, and they are now becoming comfortable to walk in. It took two wearings for them to break in. Stamped croc tends to be stiff since it is highly processed, thus resulting in a shoe that needs to broken in more than ones made with softer leather. Now that they are breaking in, they are comfortable and I am so happy I purchased them! I love the fun color variation with the gold-tone inside the croc lines.

This cardigan has already turned into my workhorse sweater for this holiday season. I love the festive vibe of the fair isle pattern. It has a wintery, snow look to it; and since it is a combination of neutral hues, it is easy to create multiple outfits around it. You can see my holiday capsule wardrobe here.

I wore this outfit the other day when my kids had a teacher-in-service day. I took them out for brunch, and then we walked around downtown Campbell and looked at the boutiques. It was a great outfit for feeling the holiday spirit, while still offering a little fall vibe.
