Do you ever try to create a tousled look, or add texture to your hair? I do! I always fail miserably though! So, when Aveda sent me their texture tonic, I was excited to give it a try!
Aveda’s Texture Tonic is a great tool for adding texture, without adding build-up to your hair. One of my pet peeves is using a hairstyling product which leaves residue, build-up and a greasy film. What I love about Aveda, is that their products leave none of this behind; and Aveda Texture Tonic is no exception. It leaves my hair lightweight, and clean. Love!
I don’t do a big beach hair look when I go for a little volume. I use Aveda Texture Tonic lightly to give my waves a little extra bounce, and definition. I really love the result!
If you are looking for volume, without bulk, you can find Aveda Texture Tonic online here.
Raise your hand if you get frizzy hair? Especially during the summer! My hand is so far up, I can’t even see it! We get fog here in the San Francisco Bay Area, and the fog makes my hair frizz like crazy! I am always looking for low-maintenance, frizzy hair solutions to keep my mane tame.
Here in the Bay Area, I am always asking my friends how to tame frizzy hair, because let’s face it, this is a problem! We don’t use a lot of hair products in California, our hair styles are more windblown then in other parts of the country. But, just because we like a little beach hair here or there, this does not mean we want frizzy hair. We need to find the perfect frizzy hair solutions to keep our natural hair do’s on point; without looking like we stuck our fingers in a socket.
Garnier has a fabulous collection of hair care products which are the perfect solutions to frizzy hair. The Garnier Fructis Sleek & Shine collection includes shampoo, conditioner, leave-in conditioner, and an anti-frizz serum. When used together, they are the perfect line of defense against frizzy hair; which I also like to refer to as “Fog Hair.”
I love the Garnier Fructis Sleek & Shine collection for combating my Fog Hair. My favorite product from the collection, which is must-have for anyone who needs to tame frizzy hair, is the Anti-Frizz Serum. This stuff is genius! The Garnier Fructis Anti-Frizz Serum is perfect for using while blow-drying hair, or to use as a line of defense against fog or humidity; both enemies which make our hair frizz up like crazy.
For travel, I love the Garnier Smooth Air Dry cream. It is a great way to smooth out frizz while on the go. This is something I keep in my gym bag, beach bag, and in the car for trips. You never know when your hair might frizz up! The Garnier Smooth Air Dry cream will tame that frizz down; it is a great frizzy hair solution!
As a busy Mother’s of three, I have to keep my hair routine quick and efficient. I don’t have a lot of time to dry my hair on low heat, use a lot of different products, and style it into a perfect ‘do. I use a limited number of products; and they need to be efficient, just like my morning routine.
With all of the hair care products I use on my hair; plus all of the heat styling I do on high heat-so it works faster, it is so important to take care of my scalp! I am so happy that Aveda’s Pramasana scalp care line has amazing products which exfoliate the scalp, leaving it squeaky clean, and free of product build-up. Love that!
I have found that if I use the Pramasana purifying scalp cleanser once a week, my scalp is a lot less dry. Although I don’t use a lot of styling products, I do blow dry my hair often, along with using products which help protect my hair from the heat. The purifying scalp cleanser clarifies my scalp, getting rid of that yucky product build-up. Love that!
Aveda’s Pramasana protective scalp concentrate is great to put a protective coating on my scalp. It not only protects it from product build-up, but creates a barrier to help protect the scalp from blow dryer heat. I use the concentrate before blow drying my hair. It’s great!
If you are looking for a cleaner scalp, or to protect your scalp, I highly recommend Aveda’s Pramasana collection! Love!
