New year, new beauty! As you know, I am a huge fan of Garnier’s products, so when they sent me a fw new products for the new year, I was excited! If you have been following, you may remember my daughter recently introduced me to Glossier. When they reached out to see if I would like to try a few new products for the new year, I jumped at the chance! And yes, my daughter keeps trying to steal my new Glossier products from my beauty bag! haha

In the fall season, I was wearing Glossier’s Generation G sheer matte lipstick in “Like” which I purchased when my daughter went on a Glossier shopping spree. For winter, I have added “Cake” to my beauty bag which is a little bit darker, but still in line with my love for lighter pink hues. This is a great color!

The winter season causes dry skin due to indoor heaters, and less humidity in the air outside. I love adding moisture with Garnier’s water rose cream.  I use this cream at night since I wear spf during the day. It adds the moisture I need in my skin which has been robbed by winter!

Sometimes moisture cream alone cannot repair dry skin; especially for those of us who are GenX, and are experiencing maturing skin. I love Glossier’s Superbounce which contains hyaluronic acid and reinvigorates my skin. I’m kind of addicted to it!!

You might be wondering why my new face towel is so chi-chi. haha, well, it goes on my face. So while my bath towels might be from more affordable brands, the towel I use to wash my face needs to be soft, luxurious, and something which does not contribute to wrinkles. So yes, it’s Chanel.

OK, if you have been following along, you may have noticed I have had my eyes on this hairdryer by Dyson for quite some time. Apparently my mom took notice from reading my blog, and guess what I got for Christmas! Yay!! She hooked me up with the Dyson Supersonic Hair Dryer of my dreams; and yes, it is the hairdryer we all had no idea we needed.

In addition to my new hair dryer thanks to Mom, Garnier sent me a fabulous PR package for the holiday season with new hair-care, and beauty products, from their collection.  I always love testing out new products from Garnier since they tend to be products I end up falling in love with. This hair mask, and these two dry shampoo’s, are my new hair-care go-to’s in 2020. Since I am coloring my hair to cover up my salt-and-pepper grey, a color revivier mask is exactly what my hair needs a few weeks after my salon appointment; especially if I am outdoors a lot. It’s a game changer in keeping my color looking fresh!

Dry shampoos have always looked like a good idea in theory, but I haven’t really found one I felt I could attach my recommendation to. This one from Garnier has just captured my eye, and my recommend! The Melon-tini and Coco Colada are fabulous scents, and they will be ideal as the weather starts to warm up next month. Love this!

Garinier’s dry shampoo is available in a variety of scents. The Melon-tini, and the Coco Colada, are definitely my favorites. I love a warm weather scent on a cool day since it evokes a sunshine vibe. I also happen to love the scent of coconut and of melon, during warm weather, so these will both be perfect all year long. Love!

I have wanted the Dyson Supersonic Hair Dryer for years!!! The thing that kept me from buying it myself was the price. I really could not understand how a hair dryer could be that expensive, I mean, I could get a nice one for $50 at CVS, so why spend almost $400 on one??? I just didn’t get it, and no-one could possibly understand why it is worth the money until actually trying it.

When you blow dry your hair, how many times have you felt like it was dried out, or taking a really long time to dry and style? With the Dyson Supersonic hair dryer, I can dry my hair in under five minutes, and it doesn’t feel like I used a hair-dryer, it feels like I air dried my hair. My hair feels healthier, and it is shinier, just from using this hair dryer; how crazy is that?! Plus, I am saving a ton of time in the morning since it dries my hair so quickly. Thanks mom!!!

If you have been eyeing this hair dryer, and have been hesitant to buy it due to the price, let me tell you, it’s worth every penny. I’m in love!

Happy November! I have been testing out a lot of new beauty products this month, so I am excited to share my favorites with you in this monthly round-up, beauty bag post! Colleen Rothschild is a beauty brand I love and trust. So, when I needed to purchase some new hand cream, I decided to try hers out! I am so glad I did! I love this! The hand cream by Colleen Rothschild is non-greasy, and it adds just the right amount of moisture to help protect and repair dry hands. This is really good hand cream! I am hooked! As you can tell from this photo, I have already started to use my tube, and chances are, I will run out of it quickly. I am always washing my hands, cleaning my house, and in need of some hand cream. In addition to hand cream, I am always in need of lip balm. The climate here in the San Francisco Bay Area is quite drying, so beauty products which help combat the dry air are a must. This lip balm by EOS is easy to use. There are a few scents to choose from, and they smell really yummy! There isn’t any waxy taste, or chemical taste; they taste pretty natural. I am addicted to the pink one! I know I will plow through these quickly. I keep one in my purse, one in my beauty kit at home, and one in my gym bag. Can’t leave home without one nearby!
