Blanket scarves are a huge trend this fall season, as well as for the upcoming winter season. The blanket scarf has been a hot trend for a couple of winter seasons now, and this year, blanket scarves are huge!

The blanket scarf is an amazing phenomena. It does double duty as both an on-trend, “street style” trend, as well as act as a practical necessity in cold weather. Love that!

The hottest styles of blanket scarves are plaid. Any type of plaid blanket scarf is hot. In addition to plaid, on-trend blanket scarves are either large, oblong scarves, or large square scarves. The small neck scarves which are about a foot wide, are not as popular.

The fun thing about blanket scarves this winter season, is that they are not very expensive! Of course, if you want a luxury blanket scarf, there are several styles on the market for over $200, or much, much more! Although you can buy a luxury blanket scarf, most blanket scarves are under $100, making it an accessible trend for every budget.

Since blanket scarves can be found for under $100, and well under $50, this winter shopping season, they make fabulous holiday gifts! You cannot go wrong giving a blanket scarf this holiday season. They are in style, one size fits all, and extremely practical! To see all my gift ideas for this holiday season, please click here for my gift guide.

Blanket scarves are incredibly cozy. They are as warm as a sweater, or lightweight jacket. This makes them perfect for our weather here in the San Francisco Bay Area. We can wrap ourselves up in a blanket scarf, and when the fog burns off in the afternoon, we can unwrap the scarf, or stuff it in our purse! Love that! They also warm up a sweater or coat on very cold days. Double love!

I cannot get enough of blanket scarves this fall season. I am already wearing them often, so I know when winter officially arrives, I will be wearing them non-stop!

Since blankets carves are a hot street style trend, and ideal Christmas gift, I found a few fabulous blanket scarves around the web, and assembled them into the shopping widget below. Most of my picks are well under $100. I hope you love them! Happy shopping, and stay fabulous 😉

It has been cold lately! No secret that winter weather is trying to take over the rest of fall! When I am bundled up with a giant sweater, scarves, etc, it is nice to have bold jewelry peeking out in order to balance out my bulky, cold weather clothing. This Laurel Burch necklace and earrings are perfect for spicing up my giant, cold weather gear!

Did I say Laurel Burch? Yes! Yes, I did! Raise your hand if you remember Laurel Burch! My hand is waaaaaaaay up in the sky! I actually have fond memories of Laurel Burch jewelry, and artwork, from when I was a child.

My Mom usually went shopping, or ran errands, when I was at school, or with my Grandma. So one day, when she announced we were going to Laurel Burch’s studio in Sausalito, I was beyond thrilled! I did not know who she was, but on the car ride there, my Mom told me how she was an amazing artist and jeweler. My Mom had spotted other women in Marin (where I grew up) wearing her jewelry, and had asked them about it. So on this day, back in the early 1980s, we were on an adventure to see a local artist.

I cannot remember if the studio was permanent, or if it was assembled pop-up style, what I do remember is that we attended a special event, and I was the only kid there. I felt really special since my Mom chose to take me! I remember seeing Laurel Burch artwork, and my Mom meeting the designer herself. It was a special day. I remember the earrings my Mom purchased for herself. My Mom still owns those earrings, and wears them often.

Fast forward to present day, and Laurel Burch’s daughter has revived the company. She has released new, and classic jewelry designs which are in line with Laurel Burch’s style; as well as modern fashion. Love that!

The “Haight” earrings, and necklace, I am wearing in the photos above, are absolutely amazing. The quality is top-notch, and the style is classic yet unique. I cannot go anywhere without receiving compliments from strangers on this jewelry! Talk about an ego boost!!

I am excited about Laurel Burch jewelry, and definitely have a few more pieces on my Christmas wish list. Hopefully Santa has a large sleigh this year 😉

You can find more amazing designs by Laurel Burch online at LaurelBurchJewelry.com. All of her jewelry will make great holiday gifts! Happy shopping, and stay fabulous 😉

I love the cooler weather we have been enjoying this month. I bought this turtleneck sweater about a month ago, and am thrilled to be able to finally wear it! I love how classic and cozy turtleneck sweaters can be!

This turtleneck sweater will be a workhorse for me this fall season; and into the winter season! I love how it looks with skirts, skinny jeans, and flare jeans. It also looks amazing with my black culottes for dressier looks. You can see my culottes styled here.

Since I love this turtleneck sweater so much, I have decided I need one more in my wardrobe this season to keep cozy! I am looking at this red one, and this neutral one. Which one do you like?

I would also like to chat just a bit about these booties! I bought them back in August, and have been waiting for cool enough weather to wear them. I love fringe booties for fall, and this pair fits the bill. The fringe is playful and fun; I love how it moves when I walk! The suede is soft; which helps to make them extremely comfortable, and easy to to walk in! Perfect for long days at the mall during the holiday shopping season!

These fringe booties have been so comfy, I have considered getting them in black too. It can be hard to find comfortable shoes, so when I do find them, I try to stock up!
