My top nine most liked photos on Instagram from 2019! Thank you for all the love and support in 2019, I couldn’t maintain this blog without you! I hope you have a fabulous new year in 2020, and I look forward to continuing to share with you, and connecting with you, in the new decade!
Time for my annual hello goodbye post! To see the fun from last year, click here.
2019 was actually a pretty good year in fashion. There were very few scary trends out there, and style in general was chic. As we head into 2020, most of the fashion trends from 2019 will continue. We will still see understated, chic looks, animal prints, oceanic hues, stripes, bold prints, and the return of past trends such as the Fendi Baguette and the baguette silhouette.
There is a return to nostalgia as we head into the new year. As the dawn of a new decade, fashion looks back at it’s wins, and will repeat the ones consumers loved. We will see vintage inspiration continue in the world of handbags with return of old IT bags such as the baguette. Shoes trends will remain about the same, so keep your snakeskin, your street sneakers, and your embellished heels. They are still hot!
Denim styles are not changing either. Keep wearing your boot-cut jeans, your skinny denim, and your cropped pants. They’re still hot too!
Pleated bags are starting to be a thing. In 2020, look for pleated bucket bags, and pleated totes. They will be the new IT bag style alongside the baguette! If you have a fanny pack, I will say it again, please put it away. They’re so over, people are forgetting what they look like. Thank you, next!
The one thing to really keep on your radar, and pay attention to as you shop, is the outgoing fur trend. While not always considered a trend, if you are a real fur consumer, your real fur days are numbered. Real fur has been outlawed in the state of California; the law goes into effect in 2023. This means you will no longer be able to purchase real fur, produce real fur, or sell real fur in the state. The war against real fur has been going on for decades, and this is the first real move towards banning it as a consumer product that we have seen in the United States. Stay tuned as other states soon follow suit. Look to switch to faux fur if you haven’t already; not only will you save the animals, you will spend less money as faux fur is significantly less expensive. Now that’s win-win!
The format of this year’s goodbye hello post was a little different since there really were very few trends to make fun of! So feel free to sound off in the comments which trends you are happy to see go, and which you are happy about in the new year.

Have a fabulous new year, and thanks for stopping by!
As the sun sets on 2019, I want to take a look back at all the fun moments during this past year. I traveled for work, and with my family. There were a few fun trends, and a few fashion mistakes; but all-in-all, it was a fabulous year! Here is a look back at some of the fun from 2019!
Winter 2019
Last winter was cold, rainy, and relaxing. I stayed cozy in a ton of athleisure looks. This one was my favorite. I had a lot of fitness goals that I tried to meet, but after injuring my hip, I fell off track. My hip is starting to feel better. My pain level has gone from a 10 to a 4. Hopefully I can get my fitness routine back on track in the new year with less pain!
Chico’s introduced me to their fabulous no stain shirt. Let me tell you, it’s a game changer. Love it!! Read all about it here.
NYFW February 2019
What a fun fashion week! It wasn’t as cold as it usually is in New York during February fashion week. The fall runway styles were fabulous, and Dawn and I enjoyed getting stopped by the paparazzi. So much fun!
Spring 2019
We went on a lot of hikes during the spring season. Castle Rock is one of my favorite family hikes! You can read about it here.
Had so much fun discovering a new workout! If you haven’t tried 9 Round, please do! Check out my recap of the Winchester location. Love the workout there!
West Valley College had a fabulous fashion show last spring. It was so much fun to see a runway show right here in Saratoga. This dress was dreamy.
Always love attending the NCL tea with my daughters! They do so much good in the community; I am a proud mama!
Hawaii 2019
My summer was basically Hawaii! We spent so much time there, and it was so relaxing and fun! You can see all of my Hawaii coverage here.
Ventura 2019
It is always fun to take a road trip! We took a quick road trip to Ventura just before school started last summer. It was really fun to get away, and check out a coastal town I had never visited before. You can read about it here.
NYFW September 2019
New York Fashion Week is always a highlight! Last September was especially fun, it seemed like I bumped into a lot of people I knew. It was a fun social excursion as well as a work trip! Check out the runways here, and my outfits here.
