Dolce and Gabbana Light Blue eau de toilette review

PhotoLight Blue EDT c/o Dolce and Gabbana

Dolce and Gabbana Light Blue eau de toilette is a fresh and crisp fragrance perfect for transitioning from summer into fall. As we leave summer behind and move into the autumn months, the weather is still warm; sometimes reaching 90 degrees. Dolce and Gabbana Light Blue is perfect for warm weather and offers a reminiscent vibe of the summer vacation we left behind.

Light Blue by Dolce and Gabbana combines fragrance notes of citron, lemon, bluebell, Granny Smith apple, jasmine, rose, bamboo, cedar wood, amber and musk. This combination of crisp summer top and heart notes combined with warm, autumn base notes creates the perfect fragrance experience throughout the day. While the sun rises and heats up the day, Light Blue by Dolce and Gabbana cycles through the citrus top notes and fruity-floral middle fragrance notes. At the end of the day when the fog rolls in from the ocean, the warm woody base warms up the evening. Love that!

Dolce and Gabbana Light Blue eau de toilette received five out of five stars from Bay Area Fashionista!

Light Blue by Dolce and Gabbana can be found in three sizes, .84oz, 1.6oz and 3.3oz. The line is priced from $48-$89 and can be found online here.

Molton Brown Indian Cress shampoo and conditioner review

Molton Brown is well loved for their fabulous line of bath & body products, candles and grooming products. As a longtime fan of Molton Brown’s Rose Granati hand lotion and hand soap, I was thrilled when Molton Brown sent me their line of Indian Cress shampoo and conditioner to test out.

I tend to have dry hair since I spend a lot of time outdoors in the sun and in the swimming pool. One of the biggest challenges I face is finding shampoo and conditioner for my weather-beaten, chlorine ridden hair. I also suffer from breakage due to my dry hair which loves to tangle up on me!

Molton Brown’s Indian Cress shampoo and conditioner smells amazing in the bottle. The combination of jasmine, honeysuckle and sandalwood creates a beautiful, woody floral fragrance experience for the shower. Love that!

I used Molton Brown’s Indian Cress shampoo and conditioner for ten days; washing and conditioning my hair every-day. After the first day I started to see an improvement in my hair! By the fourth day, my hair felt soft and looked shinier than I had seen it in years. By day ten, I felt like my hair was new. I was actually shocked at how soft, shiny and well-moisturized my hair was! This was definitely hair heaven J

I am really excited to use Molton Brown’s shampoo and conditioner every-day. When my Indian Cress bottles are used up, I plan on trying out the other fragrances in Molton Brown’s hair care line.
Molton Brown’s shampoo and conditioner are priced at $60 for the set. You can purchase Molton Brown’s hair care online here. Below are all my favorite products from Molton Brown. Hope you love them! Happy shopping, and stay fabulous

Seth Kornegay Petra fragrance review

Seth Kornegay is a new perfumer who launched a collection of nine luxurious fragrances at the end of May 2013. The luxurious line of perfumes is produced in limited quantities and prices start at $285 per ounce. Seth Kornegay uses only the finest, natural ingredients curated from around the world. What is amazing about Seth Kornegay is that his perfume is created using the art of high perfumery which is often lost in the highly consumerist modern world of fast fashion and beauty.

Seth Kornegay feels that his clientele is one who appreciates the finest quality and luxury. One of his new scents, “Orla,” was created to honor first lady Michelle Obama who embodies elegant, refined simplicity.

I was honored when Seth Kornegay sent me a bottle of one of his fine perfumes to test out. The packaging and label alone define simple luxury; yet what is inside the bottle is far from simple. The complex fragrance experience from Seth Kornegay’s perfume is intoxicatingly brilliant and addictive.

Seth Kornegay’s “Petra” is the perfume I tested out. This unisex fragrance offers a combination of Islay single-malt Scotch whiskey, wild Northern herbs and rare barks which combine into a continually changing fragrance experience of white and dark woody notes. Every few hours the perfume has a new, fresh scent on my wrist which is invigorating and keeping me wanting more. Love this!

Now that I have become addicted to “Petra” by Seth Kornegay, I definitely want to try out more of his brilliant fragrances. To learn more about Seth Kornegay and his line of luxurious perfumes, as well as to shop his perfume collection, please visit SethKorneygay.com.
