Denim is hot in 2026! Although denim is a classic fabric, designers are having extra fun with it this year, so lookout for a lot of denim throughout the year!

One of the hot denim trends this year is the denim maxi skirt. I love this one since it has a full silhouette, and I was able to buy it in petite! It is always a fabulous thing when I don’t have to pay for alterations. Love that!

We enjoyed temperatures in the high 60’s during the Lunar New Year celebration at Santana Row, so this outfit worked out perfectly. Since the sun was shining, we ate brunch on the outdoor patio at Augustine. The food was delicious and we had close seats to the Lunar New Year entertainment.

I enjoyed the Dungeness Crab Donuts and a side of French Fries. They were delicious! My husband and my son both ordered the hamburger with fries, they also enjoyed their meal. Highly recommend if you are local!

The entertainment was amazing. There were performances which included a lion dance, local dancers, local singers, kung fu, and more! We had a lot of fun. I will definitely go again next year.

Casual spring look and a vintage bag

Well, despite being February, we have enjoyed some days in the 70’s with evenings staying in the high 60’s. So, my family went to Santana Row to enjoy dinner out, little did we know the Row had been invaded by Seahawks fans that night!

Yup, this was Saturday night before the Super Bowl. I didn’t stop and think about all the non-niners fans that would be in town for the game. Thankfully, I had reservations at Left Bank so we were able to get a table without a problem. Whew! Shoutout to OpenTable.com!

We realized what was going on as we emerged from the parking garage. There were Seahawks fans everywhere! I had to remind myself I was in San Jose, not Seattle. I felt a little bit of warmth when a couple walked past us wearing niners jerseys. There are some locals like us here! Yay!!

My family navigated through the crowds of people trying to get tables at restaurants without a reservation, sad night for them! When we arrived at Left Bank, we lined up and, despite the drunk group behind us trying to eat a candle, no joke, we got our table right away.

The staff was super friendly and our food was delicious. 10/10 for Left Bank at Santana Row! Loved it!

After dinner we navigated our way back to the parking garage, and stopped for photos at NetApp, I love their tech art! It was fun seeing Santana Row so busy, despite the Seahawks jerseys. haha, next year, 49ers in the Super Bowl! I can feel it!

Zazil and night lights

The weather was clear and spring-like this past weekend so we decided to enjoy a meal out at Zazil on Santana Row. We were lucky to get an outside table where we could the music from El Jardin, the night lights, and the overall evening buzz.

I was in a mole mood, so I ordered the Plantain Croquettes with mole sauce, and my husband enjoyed chicken enchiladas. As usual, the food was delicious. If you are local, and you haven’t been to Zazil, I highly recommend going; and order something with mole sauce! Yum!

After dinner, we enjoyed the overall mood of a weekend night at Santana Row and took some photos in front of NetApp’s digital art.

I wore my cozy peacoat and barrel jeans, which you may have noticed are a huge favorite of mine this season! Cozy cozy!
