Mon Mode purse hooks: finally a purse hook that works!

How many times have you purchased a purse hook only to have it break while holding your fabulous, brand new Valentino handbag? <<Hugs>> Unfortunately, we have been there.

Thankfully there is an amazing new handbag hook in town! The extremely strong yet sleek handbag hook from Mon Mode is nothing short of amazing! This heavy purse hook can handle the heaviest handbag you can think of. Not only is it strong, this beautiful purse hook also has a discreet mirror on it! Finally, no more leaving the dinner table with lettuce stuck in your teeth! Love that!

Mon Mode was gracious enough to send us a beautiful, lavender and grey snakeskin purse hook to test out, and we have to say, we are hooked! This durable hook was able to handle a large tote bag filled with purse essentials and a digital SLR camera! We thought the handbag and hook would fall off the table for sure; but we were wrong. Thankfully!

Mon Mode purse hooks are easy to use and fold neatly into a small jewelry pouch. The hooks come in a variety of beautiful colors and patterns to suit every Fashionista’s taste. The Mon Mode purse hook featured in these photos is priced at $75 and can be found online at MonModeGetHooked.com. The entire collection starts at $50.

Chanel spring 2013 Paris Fashion Week

Ah Chanel. Karl Lagerfeld has created a beautiful and playful collection for the spring/summer 2013 season. As seen at Paris Fashion Week on Tuesday, the Chanel collection is colorful and shows many trends from the spring 2012 season which are continuing into the new year.

Chanel showed kitschy fashion including an oversized shoulder bag with hoola-hoop handles. There was color blocking, multi-color tweed, bright colors, pastels, 1960’s silhouettes, platform shoes, oversized jewelry, a bubble theme, florals and clutches; many many clutches!

The overall collection was fabulous and inspirational for the upcoming spring/summer 2013 season. What do you think of the collection? Was it a hit or miss for you?

Naya Shoes Kindred styled for the fall season

Naya Shoes is a fabulous, eco-chic footwear brand which designs on-trend shoes that leave a soft footprint on the Earth. Love this!
Naya Shoes takes special care to select environmentally friendly materials for their shoe collection and the result is an eco-conscious shoe made from high quality fabrications using fine craftsmanship.

Here at Bay Area Fashionista we have been huge fans of Naya Shoes over the past few years and we look forward to each new collection with every new season. For fall 2012, the autumn collection by Naya Shoesis nothing short of fabulous! One of our favorite pairs from the fall collection is the “Kindred” bootie which is slightly edgy and perfect for casual Fridays and weekend wear.

Of course the “Kindred” booties are fabulous with jeans (what isn’t!?) but these booties can also add a sassy zing to an otherwise basic dress. So, we took a few snapshots of the “Kindred” by Naya Shoes with both a casual look and an edgy, going to dinner look; which began with that otherwise basic dress we just mentioned

Oh, and we forgot to mention, Naya Shoes are also one of the most comfortable shoe brands in the world. Fashionable+comfortable=MUST HAVE!!!
Naya Shoes can be found at Nordstrom and online at NayaShoes.com.
