We found the most delicious Italian food in Southern California! L’Opera is located in downtown Long Beach and the food was amazing! Remember, my ancestry is Italian, so when I say it’s good, you know it’s outstanding!

This fabulous restaurant is housed inside an historic building built in 1906. It’s stunning. If you love historic buildings, you will fall in love before you even take bite of food. Love this!

We enjoyed our food so much. I had the Penne Pesto which was cooked perfectly, and a delicious dessert.

My daughter also enjoyed pasta and Tiramisu, which she said was delicious. My husband refrained from dessert, but he enjoyed his pasta too. Next time we go, I will order one of their meat entrees. We only had pasta since our lunch had been heavy. Nevertheless, our meals were delicious and we cannot wait to go back!

So, next time you are in SoCal, be sure to make reservations and enjoy dinner at L’Opera Long Beach. It’s amazing!
