Fall is here, which means we all want a little cozy in our lives. It’s the season of warm tea, blankets on the sofa, and warm fragrances which wrap us up in a warm scent experience. Love the fall season!

Warm fragrances give us comfort and warmth as temperatures cool down, so, it’s no wonder we gravitate towards woody scents, gourmands, vanilla fragrances, and warm florals. Crisp scents have been left behind until next spring. Bring on heavier perfumes! It’s cozy time!

I own all of the fragrances shown above, so you can count on me to tell you they are warm, cozy, and fabulous. The two scents I find myself reaching for the most include the Chanel edp and Guilty Vanilla. Chanel’s edp is perfect for evening and weekends while Guilty Vanilla is ideal for the office, theater, and anytime you want an understated yet fabulous fragrance. Of course, the other four fragrances are beautiful too, I just reach for the Chanel and Guilty Vanilla the most often.

Van Cleef & Arpels Previous Oud edp review

Is there anything more luxurious and mysterious than oud? I think not! There are several oud-based fragrances available, but Precious Oud edp from Van Cleef & Arpels wins the oud competition; if there is one.

As with all Van Cleef & Arpels fragrances, the notes smell fresh and rich. I have had this bottle for several years, which is why it is not full, and despite being a few years old, it still smells as fresh as the day I purchased it. Van Cleef & Arpels uses quality ingredients resulting in a clean, smooth, and ideal fragrance experience. Love that!

Top notes: Bergamot, Pink Pepper

Middle Notes: Jasmine, Incense, Tuberose

Base notes: Pachouli, Oud, Vetiver, Sandalwood, Ambergris

I love the warm and spicy fragrance experience from Percious Oud edp. It is perfect for the fall, winter, and spring seasons. It can also be worn on cooler summer days when the fog rolls in. Love!

Who doesn’t love a beautiful vanilla fragrance? I know I do! In fact, this one by Van Cleef & Arpels is absolutely extraordinary.

To be frank, my bottle is ten years old. I have a lot of perfume, which is why it looks used in my photo, but not completely empty. I store my perfumes in a cool, dark closet to preserve them. So, when people say perfume has an expiration, or that it goes bad, the bottle has to be really old or stored incorrectly. My bottle of Van Cleef & Arpels Orchidee Vanille edp smells just as beautiful today as the day I originally purchased it.

This version of vanilla by Van Cleef & Arpels is smooth, warm, and long lasting. It is a timeless fragrance you can wear all year long, in any weather. The citrus notes make it ideal in warm weather while the warm vanilla and woods make it ideal in cool weather. Orchidee Vanille works in any season, making it a fabulous vanilla investment fragrance. Love that!

Not all fragrances are made with top quality ingredients. You can rest assured Van Cleef & Arpels uses the best ingredients in the industry, resulting in not only a beautiful fragrance experience, but also a long lasting, investment bottle filled with everything that’s fabulous about fragrance. After all, my bottle is a decade old, and it smells perfect; and lasts all day on my skin! Love!

I’m all about a beautiful scent, and also quality. Which is why Van Cleef & Arpels Orchidee Vanille edp is my favorite vanilla fragrance. It is also why I do own other eau de parfum’s from Van Cleef & Arpels, so stay tuned for another review!
