It’s time for summer skin care! In addition to my go-to neck cream, face cream, and eye cream, I like to add sunscreen to my summer skin care routine. Of course, sunscreen is something to think about all year long; especially in sunny places like California! That being said, I use heavier sunscreen in the summer months due to all my outdoor activities.

Sunscreen and facial creams are important, but it is equally important to care for your body skin too! I love this hand cream from Colleen Rothschild. It isn’t greasy and works like a charm. I also love her body wash, body scrub, and body butter. These are holy grail body skin care products. Love them!

The summer season is starting; despite the fact that summer hasn’t officially started. The temperatures are rising, and beach traffic on the weekends is here. This means we are spending more time in the sun; and we need to protect our skin!

I am always picky about my sunscreen because I don’t want to look like a ghost, yet I want to make sure the sunscreen is actually protecting me from the various types of UV rays. In addition, different parts of our bodies need different formulas to thoroughly protect our skin. That’s why it is important to have specialized sunscreen for scalp/hair, lips, face, and body.

My family has tested several different brands and types of sunscreen. We love spending time outside in the summer hiking, swimming, camping, and going to the beach. This means we always need to ensure our skin is protected. Since we have tried so many different brands and types of sunscreen, I am sharing my favorites for my family with you!

The sunscreens I have mentioned and linked to in this post are the ones we all use and love. Two of my kids have sensitive skin, and these sunscreens don’t dry out, or irritate, their skin. They are gentle and safe to use. Love that! I hope you love them too!

Spring is official this upcoming weekend! If you haven’t already updated your makeup bag, skin care routine, and hair care-it’s time!

Makeup for spring uses bright versions of classic hues, which offer a timeless yet cheery look for the warm weather season. Love that! I’m crushing on this bright and sparkling red nail polish, as well as this bright yet timeless lipstick hue.

The spring season is when skin care starts to change. As temperatures warm up, we need to make sure our skin is getting the attention it needs. I love making sure I have spf in my face cream, as well as ensuring I am keeping my skin tone even as the sun starts to give me a base tan.

I also love this body butter to ensure my skin is properly moisturized. Also, this hand cream is fabulous; especially with all the hand washing we do these days!

My hair has been dry and brittle, so I switched up my shampoo! I have been using this shampoo and conditioner for two weeks now, and I already notice a difference. My hair is getting healthier and less brittle. Love that!

Also a huge fan of this oil treatment and hair dryer. If you are going to splurge on anything, this hair dryer is worth every penny. It is so gentle on the hair; yet it does the job quickly! Love it!
