I am a sucker for a product with a cause. I am also a sucker for a fabulous sandal! So, when the two are combined, the world is a better place 😉 

As a fan of Stuart Weitzman, I was overjoyed to receive an email advertising his spring 2015 Leg Wrap sandal. Not only have I been eyeing this beautiful pair of sandals since they first hit his website a few weeks ago, I was now given a reason to actually buy a pair! The Leg Wrap Sandal benefiting Dr. Marsha A. Moses Cancer Research Initiatives by Stuart Weitzman are made in red, yellow, black, denim, and platinum noir which is a beautiful, soft metallic hue.

Shoes with ties, wraps, and straps are hot for the warm weather season. Not only is the shoe itself on-trend, it is a versatile piece! Gladiator sandals are making a comeback for the spring 2015 season and they are being shown in all sizes. Tall gladiators, flat gladiators, high heel gladiators; they are all important for the spring 2015 season. Are you ready for this trend?

Gladiator sandals can be worn any which way this spring 2015 season. The flat styles can be worn with casual attire while high heels versions are appropriate for dressier occasions. You can go for an avant-garde look with tall gladiator sandals or keep it low key in ankle high styles. Whichever style suits you personal style, there is a gladiator sandal for you this spring 2015 season. 

When gladiator sandals came into style several years ago, the tall version was the most sought-after. The platform wedge is making a comeback for the spring 2015 season. Just when we thought platform shoes were fading into obscurity, lug soles raised the bottoms of shoes and now the platform wedge has dared to return! What is going on?! Obviously the shoe world is confused. 😉

Consumers have not completely abandoned platforms; despite the fact that they faded out of fashion two years ago. Due to this fact called consumer demand, designers and brands have quietly shipped platform wedges to stores for the spring season. 

Although scarce on the runways, platform wedges are being spotted on store shelves for the spring season in droves. Almost every designer and brand has produced at least one platform wedge style for the spring season. Platform wedges are being spotted in various styles from flatform to styles with a 4″ pitch. There is something for everyone when it comes to platform wedges this spring 2015 season.

Platform wedges are also being shown in every color of the season; as well as neutral and black tones.Designers have opted to design platform wedges for casual dress this spring season. To make the style casual, spring 2015’s platform wedges are being shown with cork, nautical rope and wood soles. This makes the style easy to pair with breezy pants, flowing cotton skirts, jeans and shorts. It is the “IT” weekend and casual shoe for spring 2015. Love it!
