The weather was clear and spring-like this past weekend so we decided to enjoy a meal out at Zazil on Santana Row. We were lucky to get an outside table where we could the music from El Jardin, the night lights, and the overall evening buzz.

I was in a mole mood, so I ordered the Plantain Croquettes with mole sauce, and my husband enjoyed chicken enchiladas. As usual, the food was delicious. If you are local, and you haven’t been to Zazil, I highly recommend going; and order something with mole sauce! Yum!

After dinner, we enjoyed the overall mood of a weekend night at Santana Row and took some photos in front of NetApp’s digital art.

I wore my cozy peacoat and barrel jeans, which you may have noticed are a huge favorite of mine this season! Cozy cozy!

Although the sun has been shining, the mornings are cool and the window of warmth in the afternoon is short. That’s winter for you! I am thankful for this warm and cozy peacoat so I can stay warm in this winter season.

Since the sun has been shining, I am in the mood to brighten up my wardrobe. This bright blue sweater is perfect for adding some spring color to my winter look. Also, it’s been fun wearing my old Balenciaga City bag! I love that it is back in style. More about that here.

I wore this cozy outfit to Stanford Shopping Center last week to see if anything new for spring has sprung up on store shelves and also enjoy a delicious lunch. Sorry to report, the stores were mostly winter.

Did you know there is a Dumpling Time at Stanford Shopping Center? It’s tucked away in a corner, so if you didn’t know it was there, now you do! I plan to go back when the weather warms up because they have an amazing outdoor patio. I am sure you already know about their delicious xlb and other dumplings, but you must try the Beijing Noodles too. They are really yummy!

If you want a classic peacoat, this one is at a fabulous price under $100! Love that!

Classic navy shirt dress

While the rest of the country was buried in snow, we had some spring weather peek through last weekend. Sorry east coast!

Since the weather was mild, and we were attending an event, I decided to dress for spring, and it was perfect! The temps were in the mid-sixties, and we enjoyed a buffet lunch outside. I didn’t need a wrap, sweater or jacket. Bring on the spring weather!

This shirt dress is not only comfortable, it is the perfect go-to for daytime events and the office. I will definitely be wearing it a lot during the spring and summer seasons. Love!

Since the shirt dress is timeless, this navy version can live on in my wardrobe for many years to come. Love that! If you don’t already own a shirt dress, I highly recommend investing in one. You won’t regret it!
