The long sleeve dress trend! This dress style has been everywhere lately, so when I needed a new look for my wedding anniversary dinner, I decided to wear the long sleeve dress trend. It’s a lot of fun!

Long sleeve dresses this season are short with an a-line silhouette. Since I am short, the dress doesn’t really look as short as it is meant to be; that’s lucky for those of us who don’t want to go too short! haha

Since it is winter, and temperatures dropped into the 40’s, I paired my long sleeve dress with knee boots. I also brought an ivory coat with me which I wore the majority of the night.

We enjoyed dinner at Bella Saratoga, which is one of my favorite restaurants in Saratoga. If you are local, and haven’t tried it yet, please do! You will love it! My favorite item on the menu is the Fettuccine Bianco pictured above. It’s my go-to when I eat there, so I highly recommend it!

This long sleeve dress will also transition into the spring and summer seasons with short boots in the spring, and sandals in the summer. Paired with a straw bag, and it will be a really cute summer look! Love that!

Viva Magenta sweater and flare jeans

Viva Magenta! How fun is the color of 2023! Love! I am so happy I found this sweater in magenta for the new year. Not only is it cozy and comfy, but it is also magenta; and under $100. Love that!

Dawn from Fashion Should be Fun and I, went to Valley Fair last week to grab a bite to eat and hang out while we were both still on vacation. If you have been following the weather, you know we had a series of storms last week, which are continuing into this week. So, we snapped a few photos around the mall! Valley Fair has a ton of Instagram-worthy backdrops; especially in the new wing, on the second floor! How fun are all these backgrounds!

Now, you might be looking at these photos and wondering why my legs look super long in one photo. Well, if you have an iPhone, you can toggle the distance on the photo setting. It is interesting that the .5 setting snaps photos which elongate your legs! So, there isn’t any photoshop tea here, just the .5 camera setting on the iPhone. It is fun to make legs really long! haha

We originally tried to pop into Bamboo Sushi for lunch, but they were closed due to the storm, so we wandered over to King’s Seafood, which is equally delicious! If you haven’t been to King’s yet, they have really good clam chowder; I highly recommend it! Dawn and I also shared a couple of sushi rolls. Yum!

The restaurant selection at Valley Fair keeps growing, and there are so many good places to eat! I still have a list of places to try in the near future. Do you have a favorite restaurant at Valley Fair?

Viva Magenta! How fun is the color of the year for 2023!? Love! I am really happy my vintage wool scarf is the color of 2023, especially since I purchased it in 1999! A scarf is a really easy way to add a pop of color to any winter look. If you are looking for a scarf, I love this one under $100. It’s a good quality scarf as I have the same one in green, blue, and light pink. You will love it!

My winter 2023 capsule wardrobe is similar to my fall and holiday capsule wardrobes; with the exception of the pop of color. Since winter is the first season in January, I wanted my color accent to be Viva Magenta; the color of 2023!

The styles from the fall and holiday seasons have remained the same. We are looking at blazers with jeans, power suits for the office or dressier occasions, wide or flare jeans, and a general nod to the trends from the turn of the century.
