The fall season has arrived! As the autumn season moves in, temperatures are moving into moderate territory. This means it is a great time to mix up my skin routine!

If you are like me, you spent a lot of time outside this summer. After all, it was one of the few places we could go during lockdown. This left my skin a little blotchy and dry. Therefore, the fall season is all about repair! This dark spot remover by ReVive is ideal for lightening dark spots left by the sun. It really brightens my skin. I use the Elemis Moisturizer in the morning, and the ReVive dark spot corrector at night as my moisturizer. It works really well!

This ReVive neck cream is a favorite of mine. I have been purchasing it since I was 28, and now I am well into my 40’s. It has spf protection, and keeps my neck firm. I love it!

In the fall season, I love gourmand and warm scents. This honey vanilla collection from Colleen Rothschild is perfect for autumn. It’s warm, and the perfect amount of silky sweetness. Plus, it does a great job of cleaning, and smoothing, my skin.

I have purchased the body butter in the past. I definitely go through this jar! One lasts me about six months. It smells so good, plus it corrects dry skin; leaving it smooth. It’s a must-have not only for fall, it’s a must-have all year long! Love it!

OK raise your hand if you hair is terrible right now! I spent the summer in the sun, and in the pool. Not only that, I have not had my highlights touched up since the first week of March! Our salons just reopened, so I need to run down there and get some color repair done. Aside from that, my hair has split ends, chlorine damage, and sun damage. Thank goodness for this hair care collection from Colleen Rothschild! I am using this fabulous hair mask every Sunday, and it is really helping my dry hair. I also love this hair serum, which is great to put on after I dry my hair. It smooths down my hair leaving it soft and controlled. Love that! I’m not sure how I survived before owning it!

The fall season is all about repairing the damage to our skin and our hair from all the fun we had in the sun over the summer! Everything I am showing in this post will help repair and correct summer damage. I love these products!

Happy November! I have been testing out a lot of new beauty products this month, so I am excited to share my favorites with you in this monthly round-up, beauty bag post! Now, let’s chat about these new beauty products I love! So, if you have been following along for awhile, you know I quit coffee several years ago. Although I don’t drink coffee everyday, I do order it at restaurants if I am eating brunch, and when Starbucks comes out with new flavors I feel compelled to taste! haha Other than that, I don’t really drink coffee anymore. That being said, I still consume food and drinks which stain teeth. I drink tea a few times per week, and I enjoy tooth staining foods such as tomatoes and carrots. Colleen Rothschild is a beauty brand I love and trust. So, when I needed to purchase some new hand cream, I decided to try hers out! I am so glad I did! I love this! The hand cream by Colleen Rothschild is non-greasy, and it adds just the right amount of moisture to help protect and repair dry hands. This is really good hand cream! I am hooked! As you can tell from this photo, I have already started to use my tube, and chances are, I will run out of it quickly. I am always washing my hands, cleaning my house, and in need of some hand cream. In addition to hand cream, I am always in need of lip balm. The climate here in the San Francisco Bay Area is quite drying, so beauty products which help combat the dry air are a must. This lip balm by EOS is easy to use. There are a few scents to choose from, and they smell really yummy! There isn’t any waxy taste, or chemical taste; they taste pretty natural. I am addicted to the pink one! I know I will plow through these quickly. I keep one in my purse, one in my beauty kit at home, and one in my gym bag. Can’t leave home without one nearby!

What’s in my beauty bag May 2018

May is here! This month we transition from spring into more of a summer weather pattern. As the temperatures begin to rise, we all need to adjust our beauty routine to stay balanced. While I am still using my favorite daytime Elemis face cream, Revive eye cream, and Revive neck cream, I am switching up my fragrance, lipstick, and evening skin care.

It’s time to make sure our legs are smooth and shaved! As the temperatures soar, I will be reaching for shorts, skirts, and dresses. This means I need smooth legs! I love EOS shave cream products, they are amazing! The sensitive formula contains cucumber, aloe, wild oats, and lavender butter. It’s great for sensitive skin!

If you have dry skin, which I end up with later in summer, this is what you need! This formula contains Shea Butter, coconut oil, and mango butter. Love that! It’s perfect for nourishing dry skin while allowing you a close shave. That is perfection.

Givenchy’s “Live Irresistible Blossom Crush” edt is a beautiful, light floral fragrance for warm weather. It offers notes of musk, pink peony, rose, and cocoa bean. It’s perfect for both spring and summer! I’m reaching for this scent now everyday.

I love to lighten up my lipstick in warm warmer. This beautiful plumping, moisturizing, and soft pink lipstick from Givenchy is my new obsession. It’s fabulous! It’s actually more of a lip balm which naturally reacts to your pH and creates a natural color which enhances your lips. Addicted!

So for my evening skin care routine, I am keeping things simple. I am still using the same neck cream from my daytime routine, but for my face cream I have started using Fresh rose deep hydration cream and toner. This is perfect for my skin since it tends to get dry in the warm weather from sun exposure. The cream brings intense 24-hour hydration for dry skin. The toner refines pores, and uses real rose petals! It’s the perfect summer floral! Love!

This is the season for camping! I’m troop leader for my daughter’s girl scout troop, plus we love to get outdoors as a family. This means I don’t always have access to a shower or bath. Yeah, don’t hate. 😉 This “Flash Bath” by Yuni is the best thing since sliced bread. No joke! It freshens you up as if you took a real shower! It’s perfect for camping, long air travel, or days when you might be running short on time and should have taken a shower; but didn’t. You need this. You seriously need this.
