Chanel Rose Confidentiel nail polish is a beautiful, dark rose hue from Chanel’s limited edition collection of rose colored nail polishes introduced in the pre-fall season. If Chanel’s fall 2017 nail polish collection is not your thing, this pretty, classic hue is a great alternative nail color for fall.
Although Rose Confidentiel nail polish is the lightest rose hue from Chanel’s four rose-hued, limited edition, nail polish collection, it is on the darker side as far as the rose color family is concerned. This falls right in line with autumn’s dark color palette. I love Chanel Rose Confidentiel nail polish as an alternative to the edgier colors in Chanel’s main nail polish collection for fall.
I tested out Chanel Rose Confidentiel nail polish with one base coat, two coats of color, and no top coat. It is long lasting! I love how Chanel’s nail polish is five free, while still being a long lasting formula.
Rose Confidentiel by Chanel is a classic rose hue with cool undertones. It is an easy color to wear right now, and well into the fall season. I love how it plays well with shades of blue, pink, and autumnal hues.

The new Chanel fall 2017 nail polish collection is here! Chanel has included three, beautiful colors for the autumn season this year. My favorite color in the fall collection is “New Horizon.” It is a pale, blue-grey hue which is fresh and unexpected for the fall season. Love that!
The other two colors in the Chanel fall 2017 nail polish are more classic, traditional fall colors. “New Dawn” is a soft neutral hue which is a cool, pale beige or nude. “Rouge Noir” is a vampy, red-black color which is dark, mysterious, and ideal for the dark hues we are seeing in the fall 2017 apparel collections.
Each one of the Chanel fall 2017 nail polish collection colors is a stand-alone hue which serves a different purpose. I love all three! Without further ado, here are my reviews and swatches of each one of the Chanel fall 2017 nail polish colors from the autumn collection.
Chanel fall 2017 nail polish: Chanel Horizon Line nail polish fall 2017
Chanel Horizon Line nail polish for fall 2017 is my favorite color from the autumn nail polish collection. I love the grey-blue hue which acts as a neutral, without being a neutral. Love that!
This is a fresh color other nail polish companies simply do not produce. I love it when Chanel offers original colors which cannot be found elsewhere. It helps makes the polish more special. Horizon Line by Chanel will be an easy color to wear this fall since it contrasts to the dark colors being shown this season, as well as offers a nice blend for fall’s cobalt blue trend. Chanel Horizon Line nail polish will be the color I reach for the most this fall 2017 season.
Chanel Horizon Line nail polish is a great color to wear now, and into the fall 2017 season. The pale grey-blue hue of the polish allows it to play well with the current late summer color palette, as well as move right into the fall 2017 season without clashing with any autumn hues. I plan to wear this nail polish now, and well into the fall season. I am in love!
I tested out Chanel Horizon Line nail polish with one base coat, two coats of color, and no top coat. Horizon Line by Chanel is a cream nail polish and it applies smoothly, without streaking. Since it is part of the Chanel Long-wear collection, Horizon Line by Chanel does not chip easily; and I felt like I did not need a top coat. Love!
Chanel fall 2017 nail polish: Chanel New Dawn nail polish fall 2017
Chanel New Dawn nail polish for fall 2017 is soft beige or nude color. This is the ideal neutral for the autumn season and it is also a great contrast to the dark fall 2017 color palette. New Dawn by Chanel is also a great color to wear now, and into the early fall season. It is a great summer to fall transition color, which makes it a great nail polish wardrobe staple to have on hand. The color is also a classic neutral, so it will be easy to wear with anything. Love that!

Chanel fall 2017 nail polish: Chanel Rouge Noir nail polish fall 2017
Chanel Rouge Noir nail polish for fall 2017 is oh-so-vampy! What was once know as the new Vamp, number 18 has now been named Rouge Noir, and it is the perfect black-red nail polish color. Rouge Noir by Chanel is also a nail polish wardrobe staple. This is a classic, deep, dark red hue which is great to have on hand when you want to be on the edgier side with your nail polish color. I love the mysterious vibe Chanel Rouge Noir offers. This is also a great color to wear with the fall 2017 1970s vintage trend. It seems to be the perfect color to wear with the trend. Love that!
Dark nail polish colors tend to chip easily, but I was pleasantly pleased to see Chanel Rouge Noir nail polish did not chip as easily as it’s counterparts. I tried out Rouge Noir by Chanel with one base coat, two coats of color, and no top coat. This is a cream nail polish which applied smoothly, and did not streak. The color was even, and saturated, with only two coats; this is hard to accomplish with darker polishes. It too is part of the Chanel Long-wear collection, which helps the nail polish not to chip.
The Chanel fall 2017 nail polish collection contains an edgy, yet classic, fall-like vibe with a neutral hue, a vampy color, and a new color invention. There seems to be a color for every occasion, yet all three colors will work well with any fall color palette. I love all three of these nail polish colors for fall 2017 by Chanel!

Summer 2017 is here! This means new colors from Chanel for the warm, summer season. Love! Chanel’s Rouge Coco Shine lipstick collection is one of my favorite lipsticks. It is sheer, which makes it easy to wear with casual attire, or anytime you don’t want a lot of color on your lips. I always keep one in my handbag in case I get tired of wearing a cream lipstick during the day, and want to switch things up a bit.
For the summer 2017 season, Chanel has introduced the Cruise 2017 collection; not to be confused with resort. This is the first summer 2017 beauty collection. Although the nail polish colors for summer are bright and sunny, with one color exception offering a darker, more vampy look, the lipsticks are surprising subdued.
Chanel has two colors for summer from their Rouge Coco Shine lipstick collection. Golden Sun, which is a sheer orange, and Golden Sand, which is a sheer, dark tan. Both colors are on the cool side of the color spectrum, and offer a natural lip for the warm weather season. No bold lips from Chanel for summer 2017!

Chanel Golden Sand lipstick is the perfect go-to color for everyday. It is a neutral hue which plays with any color palette. It is ideal for the office when makeup should not be obvious, and it is great for casual ensembles. This is the color I keep in my purse when I want to change things up during the day, or I get tired of wearing a heavier, cream lipstick.
If you have not worn Chanel’s Rouge Coco Shine lipstick before, it is extremely lightweight and easy to wear. It never smears, and it wears off evenly during the course of the day. Another thing I love about Chanel Rouge Coco Shine lipstick, is the fact that it is moisturizing. This is why I have been purchasing lipstick colors from this collection since I was in undergrad!
Don’t let that orange hue fool you! This is a very sheer orange color. Chanel Golden Sun lipstick is a cheery hue which, in my opinion, looks amazing with Chanel’s summer nail colors. Since it is sheer, and light, Golden Sun is easy to wear daily; much like Golden Sand. Unlike Golden Sand, Golden Sun is more on the trendy lip color side and is a great color to wear with summer’s pink, orange, and yellow hues. Love!
This is the color I reach for when I want a sheer lip that is a little more playful then on days when I reach for Golden Sand. Do you need both colors in Chanel’s summer lipstick collection? Maybe not, but it sure is fun to own both! If you are going to choose one, go for Golden Sand for a more conservative look, or Golden Sun for a more playful vibe.
