Ooooh, it’s starting to look a lot like spring over here! The groundhog was right! The Magnolia’s are blooming, white and pink tree blossoms are flourishing, and the flowers in my front yard are starting to peek out of their green buds. The sun is shining, and offering us daytime temperatures in the 60’s and 70’s. Of course, since it is still winter, the mornings are hovering in the 40’s, and at night it is quite cold. We are getting there!

It feels so close to spring! The spring vibes during the day are causing me to pull out my new spring pieces before I have figured out my spring wardrobe! This spring trench coat is perfect for cutting off the morning chill. It’s lightweight, yet heavy enough to keep me warm with just a tee underneath during our winter mornings. Then, I can take it off during the warmer hours, and put it back on when the sun starts to set, and temperatures drop dramatically. Plus, spring trench coats are a hot trend this year, so you know I will want to rock that!

As we move into spring, denim washes are getting lighter. Hemlines on jeans are starting to hit at the ankles, or be cropped. Look for styles which will show off your fabulous new spring shoes! I have not looked into spring footwear just yet, but slides are definitely hot this year. Thankfully I have my go-to Gucci slides which I love wearing every spring and fall season. They are easy to put on, and offer enough coverage to keep my toes warm. They are great for transitioning from winter into spring. Love them! This pair will definitely be in spring capsule wardrobe! Stay tuned for that. . .

Hey baby, it’s cold outside! When it’s the busy holiday season, and it’s freezing outside, I need to be comfortable! These leggings, paired with this twin set, are perfect for combating the cold while maintaining optimal comfort.

I know, I know, leggings aren’t pants; but, these leggings are incognito. Can you see the shiny sheen on the fabric? It gives them a festive holiday vibe while disguising the fact that they are just leggings. People think they are pants. haha, at least that’s what I would like to believe! haha

How could I resist this path, filled with beautiful fall leaves, in the parking lot at Stanford Shopping Center? I couldn’t! My original plan was to find some pretty holiday decor, and snap some photos in front of it, but then, I saw this path and had to change my plans immediately! Can you blame me? These fall colors are soooooo pretty!!

While it is still technically fall outside, I am in full-on holiday mode. This fall season has been so busy with my kids schedules, that I haven’t really had time to relax, or think! I am craving the holiday season because it means peaceful time with my family, moments to share with my friends, and more time to chat about fashion, style, and beauty with you! Love that!

When Chico’s sent me this black twin set as a holiday gift last week, I was thrilled! I love a good classic twin set; especially in black! This is a great twin set to reach for on casual days since it is over-sized. I gave it a little holiday flair with my green scarf from my holiday capsule wardrobe. I can definitely give it more sparkle after Thanksgiving 🙂 If you don’t own a classic twin set, you need one! Definitely check this one out, it comes in a ton of colors! Love!
