Quest and Quality SmileSolar solar powered watches are nothing short of amazing! I am in love with my cute, new, Q & Q watch. It has pictures of red and green apples on it, an uber cool watch face, and it is powered by the sun! Eco-Chic = LOVE!

Since wind up watches are a thing of the past, the majority of watches in today’s marketplace are battery powered. When battery-powered watches first came out, they offered the convenience of not having to wind up your watch. This seemed so modern and high-tech at the time! Of course, as time moves forward (pun intended), the battery powered watch is becoming passe, and the solar powered watch is new, now, and cutting edge tech. Isn’t that what we love here in Silicon Valley? Of course!

The Quest and Quality SmileSolar watch is powered by solar. This means you never have to run to the watchmaker, and leave your watch for a week, in order to replace your dead battery. It also means you don’t have to worry about the disposal of said battery, and it’s impact on the environment. Love that!

Not only does the Quest and Quality SmileSolar watch eliminate the need for an eWaste battery, it is made partly from recycled products. Now that’s eco-chic 😉

I have found my Quest & Quality watch to be an extremely accurate timekeeper. Of course, I watched my iPhone time in order to make sure it is keeping time, and it is! I also found it worked even when the sun was not shining. It seems to hold it’s charge for a long time! Love!

I am excited about my Quest and Quality SmileSolar watch and have decided this watch collection is perfect for giving as gifts this holiday season! I cannot wait to surprise my loved ones on Christmas morning with fabulous watches by Quest & Quality.

I would also like to give a shout-out to the faux fur jacket I am wearing in the photos above. It is really soft, warm, and cozy. It is perfect on cold days! I cannot wait to wear it more often this fall, and upcoming winter season. It also comes in ivory, and would make a great holiday gift. It’s under $250!

Ever since I noticed the 70s were a huge decade of influence for the fall 2015 season, I had my heart set on scoring a fabulous, button down, 70s inspired suede skirt. If you have been following along, you may remember this navy button down skirt, and this brown suede skirt, I also purchased for the season. It is pretty obvious that  any 70s inspired suede skirt is high on my list of things to love!

The navy skirt I purchased has traditional, 70s style buttons down the front. The dark brown suede skirt has pleats, no buttons. So when I spotted this beauty on sale in a cool, pale beige color, I loved how the buttons were there yet hidden. I find the hidden buttons, which are actually large snaps, a fresh take on a 70s inspired suede skirt.

The suede is exceptionally soft on this 70s inspired suede skirt, making it feel ultra luxurious. The lighter color is nice too since it will be easy to wear into the spring season. Suede and the 70s are still hot for spring! This means, this skirt, is a great investment; especially since it is on sale! Love that!

The two necklaces, and the pair of earrings I am wearing in this post are also under $100. They will make great holiday gifts for the girl, or woman, who loves fashion-forward, edgy jewelry! I plan on getting a few of these necklaces for my friends this Christmas 😉 shhh, don’t tell them!

Also, this blouse, which is well under $50, is a great closet staple which can be worn with skirts, trousers, culottes, or jeans! It is really versatile. The sleeves unbutton and can roll down to be traditional long sleeves. That makes it a two-in-one! Love!

What are some of your favorite finds this fall season?

Suede a-line skirt and polka dots for fall

navy suede skirt and polka dot blouse fall outfitbay area style bloggerchloe faye handbag navy suede skirt fall outfit idea polka dots for fall 2015 prada shoes chloe faye handbag fall outfit

Pictured: Earrings: Ippolita / Sunglasses: Prada / Lipstick: Christian Louboutin / Blouse: Ro & De (on sale under $60!) / Skirt: Theory (sold out, also love this one on sale!)/ Handbag: Chloe / Ring: Beau Bijou (on sale!) / Nail Polish: Chanel Vert Obscur / Shoes: Prada

Since the 70’s have become the decade of influence on fashion for fall 2015, I have been obsessed with owning a button down, suede a-line skirt. When I found this skirt on major sale, in one size too big, I snapped it up; despite the size issue.

Being one size too big did not seem like a big issue when I purchased the skirt. It sags a little bit around the waist, making me look a little pregnant in the photos above, but it looks smoother in real life. Suede is a little bit pricey to alter, and since I am in the process of losing ten pounds, I am going to wait before altering the skirt. I want to make sure I am at my goal weight before having the skirt made to fit me perfectly.

I love this skirt so much. The suede is soft, and the skirt is comfortable. I cannot wait to wear it with a cozy sweater in the winter, and warm boots. I love the vintage look of the skirt, and the fact that is it navy blue! Navy is one of my favorite colors to wear.

If you are looking for a navy, suede a-line skirt, with buttons down the front, there is a similar one by Theory on sale here and here.

I am also in love with this secretary style blouse. The polka dots are so much fun, and the tie is a throwback to the 1970’s. It reminds me of a modern version of the silhouette on the vintage blouse my Mom gave me, last worn here.

This blouse will be fun to wear on casual days this fall with boots, flare jeans, and my Mansur Gavriel drawstring bucket bag.

I feel like this suede a-line skirt is my hold grail piece of the season. What is the one piece, your “Holy Grail”, that you want this fall?
