Pantone has given us the top ten hues favored by New York designers for the spring/summer 2015 collection.

Drum-roll please. . .

The top ten colors for spring/summer 2015 are:

Aquamarine

Scuba Blue

Lucite Green

Boots for fall 2014

One of the fabulous, traditional fall items every girl needs in her closet is boots! Boots for fall 2014 are being shown in so many amazing styles from both the runways and the streets; there are bound to be multiple pairs on store shelves for every Fashionista.

Boots for fall 2014 are being shown in mainly neutral tones of brown, beige and black. If neutral hued boots are not your thing, the runways have given us a few avant-garde choices such as this painted leather pair from Burberry, or this fabulous pair from Bottega Veneta.

One of the big trends in boots for fall 2014 is the open toe. Traditionally found in spring/summer booties, the open toe has been popping up on boots for fall 2014 from both runway collections and lines designed from what consumers are wearing on the streets. The open toe bootie is huge for fall 2014 and the perfect way to update your boot wardrobe for the autumn season.

Wondering what to wear your fall 2014 boots with? The answer is; everything! Boots for fall 2014 are being worn with everything from casual jeans, to shorts, to midi-skirts, mini skirts and maxi skirts. Green for fall 2014

One of the hottest color trends for the fall 2014 season is green. That’s right! The vibrant hue which claimed color of the year back in 2013, has turned out to be one of the most important color trends for the last season of 2014.

Unlike in 2013, when Emerald green rained supreme, green for fall 2014 is being shown in every shade imaginable. Bright apple green, emerald, and olive hues are dominating store shelves for the upcoming cool weather season. While not dominant on the runways for fall 2014, shades of green were favored by store buyers for the autumn season and have found their way onto store shelves everywhere.

Shades of green are being shown worn together or paired with dark fall neutrals such as brown, charcoal and black. Green is being shown on everything including apparel, shoes, handbags and jewelry. The green trend can be worn as a full ensemble look, or as an accent color to an otherwise neutral toned outfit.

Green will also be a great alternative to classic black this fall 2014 season for special occasions, evening looks and gala gowns. Green will also be a great way to brighten up casual daytime looks.
