The Perfect Provenance in downtown Tiburon

It’s always fun to find local shops which offer both fashionable and local products. When I learned about The Perfect Provenance in downtown Tiburon, I was thrilled to learn we had a fabulous shop right here in the Bay Area which offers exactly that!

The Perfect Provenance offers fabulous and fashionable men’s and women’s clothing. They carry amazing brands which are on trend, and also offer quality as well as good fit. In addition to clothing, The Perfect Provenance stocks cult favorite accessories such as Perrin, Vanessa Bruno, and Elena Ghisellini.

I was also amazed to see jewelry from local designers, fabulous shoes, and so many perfect pieces for the home. They stock everything from home décor to books. In addition, they also have all-time children’s favorites such as “Madeline” and “Babar.”

I was also thrilled to find amazing gifts which are not only great for the holiday season, but all year long. They have small batch olive oil and vinegar made in Italy; which as someone with Italian ancestry, I can attest is absolutely authentic and fabulous- a must-buy when you stop in the shop or place an order online!

Products with a cause are always something I fall in love with, these adorable tee’s are exactly that! Sales from the tee’s, pouches and entire “Smile Collection” directly benefit Operation Smile. Love that! There is much more information on their website here.

One thing I find amazing about The Perfect Provenance is that their entire stock is also online. If you are not local to the Tiburon area, or you aren’t ready to venture out of quarantine just yet, you can shop it all online at ThePerfectProvenance.com. Love that!

As far as safety is concerned, everyone inside The Perfect Provenance is wearing a mask; and as a customer, you will too. It’s very clean and safe; and fun! You will love browsing and shopping in-store, just as I did. It is full-scale retail therapy. Love!

I enjoyed trying on clothing in the dressing rooms. It was safe and fun to see which items from the store I wanted to leave with. I ended up snapping up a top, sweater, dress, earrings, olive oil and vinegar (of course), and a candle. I love getting a few things for myself as well as getting a jump start on my holiday gift shopping! It is a one-stop-shop!

Be sure to check out The Perfect Provenance in downtown Tiburon, and also bookmark the website for holiday shopping-and more!

Thanks for stopping by!

Beer Cheese Fondue and Mac and Cheese

Are you looking for a fabulous cheese dip for your next party? Or maybe the perfect fondue for a fun dinner night. Or, maybe you want to spice up your macaroni and cheese? This is the Beer Cheese Fondue recipe for you!

I originally made this Beer Cheese Fondue as an appetizer for my family while watching a movie on TV. They loved dipping cheese bread and pita chips into it. (Don’t worry, the alcohol cooks out, so it’s non-alcoholic, only slight flavor from the beer is left.) My kids enjoyed having fondue; something I don’t fix very often. I really should make it more, after all, fondue is super fun!

We only ate a small amount of the Beer Cheese Fondue. So the next day, I cooked a package of spiral pasta, and used the remaining Beer Cheese Fondue as a sauce. It was absolutely delicious; Beer Macaroni and Cheese!

Here is the recipe:

  • 1 cup of an amber ale.
  • 1 teaspoon of Tabasco Sauce
  • 2 pounds of Velveeta. (Velveeta comes in a meltable, 2 pound cheese block. Super easy!)

Cut the cheese block to fit inside your fondue pot. Put the tabasco and beer inside the pot too. You don’t have to mix it right away. Cook on simmer until the cheese starts to melt, then using a wooden spoon, mix everything together. Let the mixture simmer on high, stirring occasional, for forty-five minutes.

If serving as a dip or fondue, keep warm in a fondue pot and stir occasionally as a film will form over the top if it sits a few minutes without being dipped into. If using as the cheese mix in macaroni and cheese, pour over 1 pound of your favorite cooked pasta, mix together, and enjoy!

My kids absolutely love this dip/fondue as Beer macaroni and cheese. The alcohol cooks out, so don’t worry about getting your kiddos drunk, or anyone on the wagon getting tipsy. This is a non-alcoholic food. Love that!

I hope you enjoy this simple cheese fondue recipe. I would love to know if you serve it as fondue, or macaroni and cheese!

Fall 2020 wish lists

Fall 2020 handbag wish list from top left: Small shoulder bag / semi-circle shoulder bag / grey soft satchel / black puffy woven bag /

Can you believe fall is in roughly one month?! I cannot wait! It has been over 90 degrees here in the San Francisco Bay Area along with massive wildfires. Our air has been humid, smoky, and very hot. The cooler fall season cannot come soon enough!

This fall season I plan to keep my clothing simple and classic. To compliment this timeless vibe, I am wishing for a few fabulous handbags to spice up my looks. These four handbags would do just that; while reflecting current trends. Love!

I love my puff clutch, and this mini version with a strap; it’s a great alternative to the clutch. It fits right into the puffy clutch trend, yet offers a convenient strap. Love a strap!

How cool is this semi-circle handbag?! It is handmade in Italy, and so unique. I love the classic hue and eye catching design. This is a bag collectors must-have. I plan to place my order soon!

You know I love Antigona! I have my eye on this pretty grey soft version which just came out this season. I cannot decide between the medium and small sizes, so I am waiting until a size speaks to me. Which do you prefer?

Lastly, this puffy, woven shoulder bag is a current IT bag on the streets. I love it and feel like I need it in my life. It comes in several colors, but classic black speaks to me. What do you think?

Fall 2020 shoes wish list from top left: grey stamped croc loafers / classic black loafers / black tie up combat boots / square toe stamp croc pumps /

I have a good stock of booties from last fall, and the fall before. This fall season I feel like I need to up my classic loafer game, add a pair of trendy combat boots, and refresh my black pumps. After all, the square toe is back with a vengeance! It’s a must-have in everyone’s shoe wardrobe.

In addition to the square toe, stamped croc is hotter than hot this season. This pair of classic, stamped croc loafers is something I know I need in my life this fall. These pretty loafers come in too many colors to count. I am leaning towards the grey stamped croc. Which color is your favorite?

The black loafers pictured above are a closet staple, and they are timeless! I hope to add them to my closet this fall season. They are definitely an investment purchase I know I will enjoy for many years.

These combat boots remind me of high school when the lug sole was king. They have a fun ’90’s vibe, and they also look like they will be easy to walk in; and this season I need walkable shoes. What do you think of the combat boot trend? Are you jumping on the trend?

Fall 2020 home wish list from top left: foot rest-so perfect for underneath a desk! / hot/cool air purifier-must-have with all these wildfires in California! / area rug-this one is machine washable-love that! / chic umbrella-OK not really a home item but this one is super cool /

Well, three of the four items on my home wish list are actually home items. I included this umbrella because it’s fabulous and I feel like I need it in my life. Check out how the interior contrasts the exterior! Love that!

Also, I have three kids and hardwood floors. We have wanted to add a few rugs to our home for quite some time, and this one is neutral and washable. Yes, you read that right! You can throw this rug in the washing machine. I am not sure it would fit inside mine, but I will try! haha

With all these wildfires, I am more conscious of air pollution inside the home. My mom owns this hot/cool air purifier and she swears by it, so I feel like I need one too. When the fires are going, we can smell them inside the house, even with the windows shut. So, this seems like something we could use to help decrease the pollution inside our home from the smoke.

Lastly, I find myself constantly looking for a place to prop up my feet while I work. This foot rest is practical, and looks like it will offer me the comfort I need while I work from home.

What are you wishing for this fall season? Are you thinking about fall yet?
