The spring 2023 nail polish collection from Chanel is finally here! This year, Chanel has given us two colors for the spring season with one classic hue, and one fun color. Love that!

The classic hue is Chanel Rouge Cuir, which is a timeless berry shade that can be worn during any season of the year. I see this as an expansion of the neutral hues Chanel released last fall. If you are looking for an updated neutral, this is your spring nail polish color.

If you are looking for something a little bit more fun, Chanel Watermelon nail polish is a shiny, sheer, sugary orange. This nail polish applies with a sheer, jelly-like look which is high on shine. I used two coats of color in my photos, and as you can see, the polish doesn’t completely saturate the nail. with three coats, you can recreate the color you see in the bottle.

Chanel Watermelon nail polish is a jelly-like polish which does not offer a lot of color saturation. If you want the color in the bottle, it will require three coats. If you prefer the avant-garde look of the shiny and jelly-like consistency of this polish, one or two coats will achieve your goal. Photo taken with one base coat, two coats of color; no top coat.

How pretty is Chanel Rouge Cuir nail polish for spring! I love it! This is a fabulous, updated neutral hue which can be worn to the office, daily, and also in the evening. It is the ideal polish to put on and leave on until it chips, or your nails grow. Tested with one base coat, two coats of color, and no top coat.

How pretty are these colors from Gucci for spring 2023! Love! So, I know I have been talking about neutral nail polish being a thing, but I got so bored of neutrals, I needed something a little bit more fun for the upcoming spring season. It’s been awhile since I reviewed Gucci nail polish, so I decided to dive into their spring collection, and I am so glad I did!

While many designers are showing neutral hues for nails this spring 2023 season, Gucci is ignoring the trend and giving us beautiful spring hues for the warm weather season; and I am here for it! There is a fabulous fuchsia, a yellowish ivory, and light denim blue. These colors are fun and joyful; exactly what we need for spring!

I’ve decided I want some fun colors for spring to mix with my neutrals. You know I like to alternate my nails! So, without further ado, here are the three cheery hues from Gucci for the spring 2023 season, all shown with one base coat, and two coats of color, no top coat.

Gucci Vantine Fuchsia nail polish is a fun, candy pink fuchsia which is bright and makes me wants to eat candy; literally! This is such a great color for anyone looking for a bright hue for spring. I think for me, this will be perfect for my toes!

This yellowish ivory hue from Gucci for spring is oddly inviting. I normally shy away from ivory or white nails, but there is something I love about this color. I think it is the yellow hue which is so slight, it makes the ivory interesting. I think this is the perfect replacement for a neutral nail if you strongly dislike neutral nails. I plan to wear Cecilia Ivory often.

Well, as you know, I love blue nail polish colors! So obviously, I am wearing Lucy Baby Blue right now as I type this. This light, denim blue hue is cool and has a slight lavender undertone. I am in love! This will be my spring go-to when I need fun on my nails. I am so bored of neutral nails already! Let’s have some fun with this blue!

The blossoms are popping up all over town; signaling spring has sprung! With the warmer temperatures we are starting to see, the increase in sunny days, and all these beautiful blossoms, it is time to start transitioning from winter skin care into spring beauty.

You might be tired of hearing me say this, but this neck cream is amazing. I have been using it since I was 28, and now that I am getting closer to that half century mark, my neck looks really good! I highly recommend investing in a good neck cream and continuing to use it everyday. Love!

You might be wondering why you aren’t seeing color products such as lipstick, eye shadow, and nail polish in this post. These are just the basics; your beauty base for the spring season.

I love a good eye pencil, and this one from Laura Mercier has been my go-to for close to two decades. I am also in love with this concealer and foundation powder; also favorites of mine for close to two decades. Love!

My hair gets dry in the winter from the heater, then again in the summer from the sun. Moroccan Oil is my saving grace. I recommend picking up a bottle for home, and also a travel size for when you are on the go. Love it!
