Silver and black with Rose Royce jeans

DSC0371 DSC0382 DSC0386 DSC0389

Here in the San Francisco Bay Area, we love denim. Let’s face it, San Francisco is the birthplace of the denim pant as know it! Therefore, anytime there is a fabulous new denim company in the world of jeans, I have to try them out!

Rose Royce jeans is a hot new denim company who designs unique styles with fabulous pockets! I love this! No-one wants boring pockets, denim pants are ALL about the pockets! And the fit too

What makes Rose Royce unique is the fact that the pockets vary on each style of denim the company makes. This means you can buy multiple pairs of great-fitting jeans from the same brand and no two pairs will look alike! Love that!

In this article I am wearing the black Rose Royce “Royce” skinny jean. I love the flower buttons on the front and back, as well as the fit! The jeans offer a little bit of stretch which helps them fit perfectly and feel comfortable. Rose Royce fit true to size too; which makes ordering online easy.

Contest: Rose Royce has assembled together fourteen fashionable and fabulous bloggers in a style contest! The bloggers photos’ are on Rose Royce’s Facebook Page and the blogger who receives the most “likes” on their profile picture in the slideshow will win a prize! So now, I must do some shameful begging and ask you to pop over to the slideshow and cast your vote for who you think styled their Rose Royce jeans the best. The contest slideshow is online here. Thank you for your support and don’t forget to “like” Rose Royce on Facebook too!

Oceanic hues and a Hayden Hartnett handbag

DSC0265 DSC026901 DSC02681

Cobalt blue. It is a favorite hue of designers year after year, and for 2013 is appears to be more important than ever. While this vibrant hue was spotted all over the spring/summer 2013 runways, cobalt blue dominated the recent resort 2014 runways; proving this is the ultimate color to invest in right now.

Since cobalt blue is important this year, and into next year, it is a great color to have in your wardrobe. Cobalt blue not only offers a pop of color to neutral ensembles; the color is almost neutral itself, and blends well with almost any color group. This make it the perfect hue for a handbag since we all need a purse we can wear everyday which blends well with the majority of our wardrobes.

This beautiful handbag featured in today’s article is a bright, cobalt blue shoulder bag from fabulous handbag designer Hayden-Hartnett. Hayden-Hartnett makes perfect handbags for everyday wear. They have a wide variety of daytime clutches, roomy tote bags, work bags, cross body bags, satchels, shoulder bags and more! The entire collection features usable pockets in the interior, and on some styles the exterior, which are handy for keeping everything organized. Love that!

I am in love with my Hayden-Hartnett handbag. In addition to its’ vibrant, cobalt blue hue, the pockets are great for keeping my belongings where I can find them! The leather is soft and the handbag is comfortable to wear; not to mention lightweight!

There are a wide variety of handbags, which are perfect for summer, and into next year, on the Hayden-Hartnett website right now. The sale section also has beautiful blues, yellows and greens! These are three important colors moving into 2014. Perfect investment!

Anchors Away!

DSC0235 DSC0238 DSC0240 DSC0236 DSC0241

Anchors are a huge trend this year. This nautical symbol is popping up everywhere on apparel, accessories and jewelry! Although considered classic, anchors have an important place in street style this year and Twisted Silver has designed the perfect jewelry collection for celebrating this sea-worthy trend; the “Anchors Away!” collection.

This eco-chic collection offers a lightweight pair of earrings and adjustable necklace. The necklace can be worn as a lariat or pendant necklace. Love that! Twisted Silver added a little bit of oceanic love to the “Anchors Away!” collection by pairing the anchors with a hearts and blue beads. What better way to celebrate your love for the sea!

I love wearing the necklace as a lariat and find the collection works perfectly with summer attire. Since navy is going to be a huge color in the fall 2013 color palette, Twisted Silver’s “Anchors Away!” collection will easily blend with fall attire due to the copper metal and blue beads. Love that!

In these photos I wore Twisted Silver “Anchors Away!” collection to the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk with my family and paired them with these fun elephant shorts from Banana Republic’s Milly collection. My kids adored the hearts and anchors, as well as the elephants!
