It is no secret that drawstring bucket bags are the “IT” handbag style of 2014. They started to become hot last year, which you can read more about here. For spring and summer 2014, more designers and brands have released drawstring handbag styles than we saw on the market last year; this means we have a plethora of choices in a range of colors, sizes and prices! Love that!

There are so many variations of the drawstring bag for spring and summer 2014; there is literally a style for everyone! Drawstring bags are being shown in mini versions as well as traditional medium sizes, backpacks, sling-bags and large totes. There are structured versions by designers such as Louis Vuitton which work well with office attire and sophisticated ensembles. There are also more casual versions such as ones by Vince and Mansur Gavriel-who started it all!

That’s right! The ultimate “IT” bag to own this season is the moderately priced version by Mansur Gavriel. The Mansur Gavriel drawstring bag started the trend and is the hardest drawstring handbag to get your hands on! Yours truly ordered one last fall and I have yet to receive it!

The C Wonder shopping party last week was so much fun! Not only did I meet readers and fellow local bloggers in person, there was lemonade, sweet treats and shopping! One hilarious moment was when I walked into the store and saw a mannequin by the front door wearing the same dress as me! How could she!!! Ha! Well, the mannequin is perfect, so the dress looked better on her. But at least I was wearing shoes!

Of course the mannequin wore the same dress as me! First off, the dress is current season at C Wonder, second, it is really cute! The dress fits nicely and is very comfortable. I look forward to wearing this dress with flat sandals on warm summer days as well as again, with heels! I also love the black and white striped version, which is very similar to another dress I own. Maybe I love striped dresses?

Dermalogica skin hydrating booster review

I love being outdoors; which includes swimming, playing tennis, hiking and watching my kids play sports from the sidelines. This means my skin is constantly in the sun, wind; and who knows what! My biggest skincare challenge is keeping my skin moisturized so that it does not get dry, flaky and start to peel. So, I was thrilled when iFABBO sent me a sample of Dermalogica’s “Skin Hydrating Booster“ to test out. This sounded like the product my embattled skin needed!

Dermalogica’s “Skin Hydrating Booster” is used after applying moisturizer. My moisturizer is normally fine, except in the mid to late spring when my skin is in the sun a lot and gets a workout! I applied Dermalogica’s “Skin Hydrating Booster” after my facial cream and it added a little bit of softness to my skin. I proceeded to watch my daughter’s soccer game and then my son’s little league game; leaving my face out in the sun and wind for roughly three hours.

When I got home, I was thrilled! Instead of my skin feeling dry, it felt perfect! My skin felt the same after three hours in the sun as it had when I first left the house in the morning before the games. This is definitely the add-on my skin needs on days when I am outside!

I will rate Dermalogica’s “Skin Hydrating Booster” five out of five stars 😉
