Rituals is one of my favorite bath and body brands. So, when they contacted me about reviewing their Happy Mist in Organic Mandarin & Yuzu, light bed and body perfume, I was thrilled! After all, what in the world is “light bed and body perfume?”

I love fragrance, in the form of perfume. I also love home fragrance, but all in one? I was not really sure what to expect. I was thrilled when I found Rituals Happy Mist in Organic Mandarin & Yuzu light bed and body perfume worked as a beautiful, light citrus body fragrance and also worked well as an air freshener for the bed. Love that!

Since Rituals Happy Mist in Organic Mandarin & Yuzu light bed and body perfume is safe on textiles, hence the designation “bed perfume,” It is OK to spray on after getting dressed; or even when wearing crisp, white clothing! Ritual Happy Mist in Organic Mandarin & Yuzu light bed and body perfume is made to be sprayed on both the body and fabric. This means that is will not stain textiles (fabric) and does not contain alcohol. This added benefit makes it ideal for sensitive skin. Love that!

The Mandarin & Yuzu scent is fresh and pretty. I am looking forward to trying more products by Rituals in this fragrance group. I am also looking forward to trying more light bed and body perfume from Rituals!

The weather has finally started to feel like fall! This past week, temperatures have finally dipped into the 60’s and 50’s, offering crisp fresh air and the opportunity to wear warm clothing. Love that!

Since we are experiencing a drought here in the San Francisco Bay Area, we have had an unusually warm year. We started to get spring-like weather as early as January! So, when the cooler temperatures started to hit last week, it felt refreshing; and a relief!

This warm pink moto jacket by Rebecca Minkoff is ideal for the current temperatures. It not only keeps me warm, it is both edgy and girly at the same time. Love that! I also love how it looks with this Coach shoulder bag; which is how I am wearing the painted handbag trend this season.

How is your weather pattern? Have you had the opportunity to wear your fall clothing yet?

Chanel Intention nail polish fall 2014 review

chanel intention nail polish fall 2014

Chanel Intention nail polish is a new, neutral nail polish hue from Chanel. The sparkling, peachy hue was introduced as a late fall 2014 color.

Chanel Intention nail polish is limited edition and an ideal nail polish color to add to your nail color wardrobe by offering a slight twist on classic nude nail polish. Instead of offering a beige base, Chanel Intention offers a sweet, peachy hue which acts as a nude yet steps outside the traditional nude nail polish boundaries. Intention by Chanel has a slightly sparkling yet creamy finish with high gloss shine. It is a great color to have as an alternative to nude nail polish this season.

I tested out Chanel Intention nail polish from the late fall 2014 beauty collection with two coats of color, one base coat and no top coat. The nail polish lasted five days before chipping. Since the color is soft, the chips were extremely unnoticeable. Love that!

The verdict? Chanel Intention nail polish is a fabulous nail polish color to keep on hand for those times when you feel like a nude nail polish, but want something with a little more sass.

Chanel Intention nail polish can be found online here and here.
