Dolce & Gabbana is launching a new and cheery make-up collection for the spring and summer months; the Bouquet Collection. This beautiful collection includes eye-popping and fabulous C-O-L-O-R!

For the past several years Fashionistas everywhere have been keeping their make-up neutral with the occasional pop of blue or green shadow. For the spring and summer season Dolce & Gabbana is challenging everyone and asking us to shatter neutrality and get colorful for the warm weather. Love this!

This exciting collection of floral inspired colors expresses the exuberance and Mediterranean passion of Dolce & Gabbana’s spring 2012 collection. This beautiful and cheery collection, which evokes the uplifting feeling of a trip to Southern Italy, launches in April 2012 at Saks Fifth Avenue stores nationwide.

Here at Bay Area Fashionista we are coveting the green and blue nail polishes as well as the purple, blue, and green eye make-up. Hello colorful faces!

Brightly colored bangles for the spring and summer months

The color trend is huge this season and Fashionistas everywhere are going crazy trying to spread out their dollars to accumulate as much color as possible. One of the easiest ways to instantly add color to any ensemble, or to add additional color to an already colorful outfit, is with the colored bangle.

Colorful bangle style bracelets are being found everywhere from jewelry counters to city streets. Bangles are being found in one color as well as color blocking; making them one of the easiest ways to be on-trend for spring and summer in 2012.

Another fabulous feature of the colorful bangle is that they can be found for under $20! While many designers are showing high end colored bangles, Fashionistas on a budget can also enjoy this trend. Stores such as JCPenny are selling bright and cheery colored bangles for $12 each and for just a few more dollars, department stores such as Macy’s and Bloomingdale’s offer colorful bangles for under well under $50. Love that!

There are THOUSANDS of colorful bangles on the market-it is almost daunting! So we scoured the web and found a few brightly colored bangle bracelets and assembled them into the Polyvore shopping set below. Hope you love it! Happy shopping and stay fabulous

Style it with Naya contest

Starting today, and running through April 10, 2012, Naya Shoes chose five bloggers to style their “Eternal” wedge for the chance to win a pair of shoes! I was extremely grateful when Naya Shoes asked me to style the “Eternal” wedge in yellow for the contest. I photographed two outfits, one with cobalt skinnies and one with a tangerine striped dress. The dress made the cut!
