Plant-It 2020: In celebration of Earth Day 2012, Naya Shoes has partnered with Nordstrom to plant 5,000 trees in support of charity organization Plant-It 2020. Nordstrom and Naya Shoes will plant a tree for every pair of Naya Shoes purchased at Nordstrom today. This will also mark Naya Shoes two-year anniversary with the tree planting campaign for Earth Day. By the end of 2012, Naya Shoes will have planted 15,000 trees with Plant-It 2020. Love this!

Cheery flat sandals for spring and summer 2012

The warm weather is beginning to roll in and Fashionistas everywhere are looking for at least one pair of fabulous sandals that can easily take them through a busy and fashionable day. While high heeled and platform sandals are beautiful and flattering, flat sandals are the workhorse shoe for casual days during the warm, late-spring and summer months.

Spring 2012 is all about color; therefore it is no wonder that flat sandals are mirroring this trend. There are brightly colored sandals, color blocked sandals, pastel hued sandals and of coursed floral print sandals on store shelves everywhere. Fashionistas are just starting to take flat sandals for spring 2012 to the streets. The big winners so far? Bright colors!

Flat sandals are being shown in many styles for the warm weather season. The three most popular styles happen to be classic flip flops with embellishments, gladiator (who knew this style would stay strong three years later?!?!?) and ankle strap styles.
