Perlier Imperial Honey review

Body Butter: c/o Perlier Imperial Honey

Perlier “Imperial Honey” is a new body butter product from Italian beauty brand Perlier. The body butter is made from the rare honey of black bees and combined with royal jelly. It is considered to be a “youth-elixir.”

I tested out Perlier’s “Imperial Honey” body butter for one week. This time of year my skin tends to get dry from the heater and the dry weather we typically have in the fall months. Perleir’s “Imperial Honey” body butter was a welcome test for my dry skin. I love how it quickly nourished my skin and left it feeling anything but dry!

Body creams, lotions and butters with a scent are my favorite to use. I have a bit of a fragrance addiction 🙂 I love the warm fragrance experience from Perlier’s “Imperial Honey” body butter. There were fragrance notes of honey, woods and soft spices which carried me throughout the day. The scent was easy to blend with warm fragrances such as Dolce & Gabbana “Desire the one” and Van Cleef & Arpel’s “Precious Oud.”

The verdict? Five out of five stars!

Perlier’s “Imperial Honey” body butter is priced at $40 and can be found online here. Use coupon code iFABBO5 and save $5 on your order! Love that!

I have been skipping the lace trend over the past few seasons because I felt like it did not fit my personality. So, when I saw this shawl or “kimono” from BooHoo I knew it was the perfect way for me to dive head first into lace this season. There is something slightly edgy about the way the shawl is made. I love how it spices up a classic yet bright pencil skirt turning it into a dinner ensemble. I also love how it works with casual jeans or thrown over a dress. I can definitely see myself wearing this shawl for a variety of occasions this season!

What have been your thoughts on the lace trend over the past few seasons? Have you been wearing it, or have you been like me, avoiding it?

Dolce & Gabbana Nude nail polish review

Nail Polish c/o Dolce & Gabbana “Nude”  one base coat, two coats of color. No top coat.

Dolce & Gabbana “Nude” nail polish is a pale, peachy color which is the perfect alternative to naturally nude nails. In the current world of fashion; prints, textures and competing colors are all the rage. Due to this fact, it can be challenging to find the right nail color to take you from the office to dinner to a special event. In fact, it can be challenging to find a nail color which works with every outfit you wear for an entire week!

Thankfully Dolce & Gabbana’s “Nude” nail polish is the perfect, classic answer to the nail color dilemma. The pale nude hue matches every color and print imaginable. The soft color is close to the shade of natural nails; making Dolce & Gabbana “Nude” the perfect alternative to wearing nothing on your nails at all! I always say, you never look finished or polished unless your nails are done, so Dolce & Gabbana “Nude” is the perfect way to have natural yet finished nails. Love it!

I love the shine and peachy hue of Dolce & Gabbana’s “Nude” nail polish. I know this nail polish will be perfect for travelling (since no-one wants to fiddle with changing their nail color while on vacation or a work trip!) and it will also be perfect for the resort season. Nude nails look amazing with a tan! Now all I need is an actual resort vacation for the fashion season. 😉

Dolce & Gabbana “Nude” nail polish is priced at $24 and can be found online here and here.
