You can never go wrong with a little black dress. I love having a few little black dresses on hand for those occasions when I just do not know what to wear! They also come in handy when I want my outfit to be all about one or more of my accessories!

I wore this casual little black dress out to dinner with my family. It seemed warm outside when I put the dress on and took a few photos, but as soon as the sun went down, I kept my coat on! In the future, I will plan to wear this little black dress on warmer days, during the day, or on occasions when I will be inside. At dinner we sat outside on the patio because my daughter didn’t like the noise level inside the restaurant. Brrr!

Since I consider myself an accessories girl, I chose to wear this little black dress in order to accentuate both my Dualitas ring, and my favorite blue handbag! I love blue and green together, so highlighting both pieces at the same time just worked for my personal taste.

This Dualitas ring is really comfortable, and it looks amazing with casual denim outfits, through to cocktail attire. I love versatile jewelry, it is what I reach for the most in my jewelry box! I would also like to give a shout out to these boots! I have been wearing my Tory Burch boots several times per week. The heel is high enough to look fabulous, yet just below that 4″ point which can be uncomfortable. As a result, these boots are VERY comfortable! I love wearing them with jeans, skirts, and dresses! They are currently on sale, so if you are looking for a pair of fabulous black boots with some stretch (or give) in the shaft (the part which covers your calf), then these boots are for you! They fit perfectly, keep my calves warm,  and I can walk for miles. Love that!

I tested out Dolce & Gabbana Antique Gold nail polish with one base coat, two coats of color, and one top coat. The nail polish lasted a full week before shipping. This is the perfect amount of time since after one week, my nail start to show nail growth, so my nail polish needs changing anyway.

Nars Night Creature nail polish for winter

I absolutely love Nars nail polish. I love the application brush, the fabulous colors, and the long lasting, chip-resistant formula. So when the Steven Klein collection came out for the winter season in three amazing colors, I had to get my hands on them! Nars Night Creature is the first nail polish from the collection I have tested, and I am already in love!

Nars Night Creature nail polish is a stunning, purple shade with extremely soft, sparkle undertones. The purple hue is ideal for the fall and winter seasons since it plays well with all of the berry hues we are seeing on apparel right now. Love that!

One of the things I love about Nars nail polish is the formula. It is long-lasting, and it is chip resistant. When I wear it, I never have to worry about getting chips. Which is why I love this polish.

Since purple is one of my favorite nail polish colors, Night Creature might turn into my favorite nail polish of the season! I tested it out with one base coat, two coats of color, and one top coat. The top coat added a little bit more shine to the nail polish than it originally had after drying. That is fine with me, since I prefer shine on my nail polish. After testing out the polish, Nars Night Creature lasted over a week. I changed it when my nails began to grow. Love!

Nars Night Creature is a beautiful purple nail polish, which will make a great nail polish wardrobe staple. Purple can be worn during any season of the year, so it transcends trends and seasons. Love that!
