Happy summer season! As you know, summer 2023 is all about classic style and investment dressing. Love that! So classic investment handbags are trending as well as timeless accessories and fun nail colors.

You don’t have to live in a neutral world when it comes to an anonymous handbag. Feel free to invest in handbag colors which make you happy. Love green like me? Grab a green bag! Is yellow your summer color? Pick up a bag in yellow! The only rule with investment dressing is to stay away from logos, and overly trendy styles. OK fine, that’s two rules. haha

This weekend is a good time to shop your closet for fall. I know I know, we just started summer, but the Nordstrom sales will start next month, and it is a great time to pick up basics, workout clothing, pajamas, and other wardrobe essentials. Look at your closet and see what needs to be replaced, what you don’t wear, and what doesn’t fit. Donate or store what you remove and then start making a list of what needs replacing. I will post more details in July, but right now, start with the basics!

The anonymous handbag is in full swing, and you don’t have to break the bank to find a beautifully crafted IT bag. While there isn’t technically a standout IT bag for 2023, this brown handbag is made from one of the hottest designers of the moment. They are known for high quality and understated style. There is typically a waiting list for this handbag, and it is open right now!

The best handbags of the moment are anonymous. They bear no visible logo and stand out based on timeless style, and high-quality fabrications. These are handbags which can stand the test of time and remain in your wardrobe for decades. They only get better with time.

The black saddle bag pictured above is a timeless style from Mulberry which is not only crafted from the finest leather and highly skilled artisans, but also made in an eco-friendly factory with low emissions in the UK. This bag is normally priced well over $1000, but there are a few seasonal colors on sale right now which are not trendy; they are timeless. Summer is here, which means warmer weather and a new fragrance to enjoy. Love that!

When temperature soar, it is a good idea to lighten up your perfume. If you wear something heavy, it may not, shall we say, perspire well? Yes, we will put it that way.

The summer months are a great time to explore floral fragrances, vanilla scents, and of course, coconut! There is something about coconut and vanilla together which evokes a summer vibe. Love that! My favorite summer fragrance is this Vanilla Coconut scent from Lavanila. I love the vacation vibes it gives out.

Plagued by bugs when it heats up? Me too! I am dying to try this new, limited-edition scent from diptyque which promises to be a fruity floral and a citronella candle on your skin. I’m in! I am purchasing it and will give you a review soon! So, stay tuned. . .

Of course, classic Chanel no. 5 is always appropriate and anything fun and fruity works perfectly in the heat. What are some of your favorite summer scents?
