Can you believe it is the second week of June? How is the year going by so quickly! By now, you are starting to enjoy the summer season, and you may be finding you need a few summer IT items in your wardrobe.

This week, both spring and summer nail polish hues are trending. If you aren’t into the neutral summer hues we are seeing in summer nail polish, spring’s sparkling red is the nail color for you! In addition to spring and summer nail polish, puffy slides and comfy espadrilles are trending right now. Both styles are comfortable, and work with different looks. Three cheers for comfort!

Classic IT bags are still trending in 2021, and the classic Marcie and Swinger bags are showing no sign of slowing down. If you don’t already have one, what are you waiting for? In addition to classic IT bags, this basket bag is a hot summer IT bag. It looks great with hot weather looks and it is also perfect for beach vacations. Love!

While spring clothing and accessories are starting to pop up on sales, summer items are still full price. If you want to invest in a few new summer pieces, but are waiting for a sale, you don’t have to wait! Memorial Day weekend is here! This is our annual summer kick-off weekend, and retailers are celebrating the summer season by offering deep discounts on clothing, accessories, and beauty products we all need this summer season. Love that! So instead of my traditional BAF Weekly IT List, this IT List is all about the sales!

Almost every retailer is offering some sort of sale and/or deal this weekend. Instead of making a list a mile long of all the sales and deals out there, I curated my absolute favorite deals into this post. After all, not all sales are equal! These sales and deals are on products I love and use, and they are also good deals; not gimmicks like “Free Shipping this weekend!” when the retailer always offers free shipping. Um yeah, we know who you are and we aren’t impressed. haha

Without further ado, here are my favorite sales and deals of the Memorial Day Weekend for 2021!

Nordstrom: Half-Yearly Sale now through June 6, 2021 at nordstrom.com. I recommend picking up some fitness apparel and browsing through the handbags, those seem like the best deals.

SOMA: Semi-annual sale, save up to 70% off select styles, bras are $14.99, and select apparel is $14.99 and up. This is such a great sale! Head over to SOMA.com to shop. Such good prices!

Everyone is starting to think about summer! Espadrilles are currently the hottest selling footwear right now as we all are starting to think about warmer weather, and summer vacations! I love this classic pair of wedge espadrilles priced nicely under $100, and this classic pair of black espadrilles; also under $100. Love these for summer! They are so comfortable, and make walking on a sandy beach super easy!

Spring nail polish is a still a hot seller, but did you see the summer nail colors? Neutrals are going to be hot this summer! Check out Chanel’s summer collection, and also Dior’s.

Regular tee’s are not where it’s at this summer. This season, we are going to see a lot of elevated tee’s with ruching, ties, and puff sleeves! Here are a few of my favorite’s currently on the market:

I own a couple of the items I pointed out, which are part of the sample sale. Here is the skirt, and the black chain top. These are great pieces to have in your wardrobe. The black top is a lightweight sweatshirt and perfect for foggy days with jeans or shorts. This skirt is really easy to dress up or down. Love them both!
