I was so thrilled a few weeks ago when Lumene reached out to me and offered to send some more products to test out! I was first introduced to Lumene last spring, and posted about their products on Instagram. I had not been using them long enough to warrant a full blog; but now that I have been using their products for a few months, and really enjoy them, I decided to share with you what I love!

All five of the products from the Lumene Valo Collection are fabulous. They blend natural goodness of rare Arctic Cloudberry; a wild super-fruit that is packed with vitamins C, A and E. (sounds like something I want to eat!) It is also packed with fatty acids which helps to create a powerful hydrating Nordic-C complex. This collection of skin care products by Lumene help to enhance radiance, and improve overall complexion evenness. Love that! It is what I need, and I think we all need, during the summer months!!

Vitamin C is more then just something we should eat. It is a fabulous, powerful antioxidant which helps fight free-radical damage, lighten pigmentation (hello uneven skin color from sun burns!), and combat acne. (which I suffer from!). Vitamin C is amazing for all skin types!!

While I love all of these products, there are three I cannot live without.

This is the Lumene Valo Arctic Berry Cocktail. It is SO AMAZING! During the summer months I am all about brightening my skin. Despite my heavy usage of sunscreen, I still end up with uneven skin tones. This cocktail does wonders for my skin; evening out the dark skin above my lip, and on my nose. Plus, this has a yummy smell. I want to eat these berries! Of course, this goes on skin, not in the tummy. Please don’t try to eat it 😉 haha

I use a brightening moisturizer at night, and during the day I have been using this day moisturizer with spf 15 from the Lumene Valo collection. My skin has been really smooth and my acne problem has calmed down quite a bit. I alternate between different skin creams depending upon the season, and the weather. This is a fabulous face cream for right now. It keeps my dry, summer skin moisturized. Love that!

Seriously, cannot live without this in the summer months. This hydrating mist is a lifesaver after a day in the sun, at the beach, outside; basically after a fun summer day. Although it is meant for the face, I have sprayed it on my shoulders too, and it feel SO GOOD! It is a great mid-day refresher if I don’t have time to wash my face in the middle of the day, and it needs it. I spray it on a cotton square and then pat onto my skin.

EOS shave cream is a fabulous, affordable way to smoother legs! Unless you have lasered all your hair off, chances are, you shave your legs. These four fabulous smelling shaving creams from EOS are a great way to shave in the shower!

Since I grew up as a competitive swimmer, shaving was an important ritual. Before every important swim meet, such as state championships or nationals, I would shave my legs and my arms. Over time, I ended up testing out several shaving creams throughout the years, so when I find one which is conditioning, and non-drying, I take notice.

EOS shaving cream is a rich, non-foaming shave cream which allows you to see what you are shaving, while providing the exact protection you need to keep your legs safe from your razor. This shave cream is packed with conditioning oils, shea butter, vitamin E, and vitamin C. As a result, my legs are smooth and stubble-free. Love!

One feature I love with EOS shave cream is that the bottle is a pump. This makes it really easy to use in the shower since you don’t have to worry about the bottle slipping out of hands during application. The pump really is ingenious.

My favorite scent is the Tropical Fruit, followed by Vanilla Bliss. That being said, all four scents are amazing. I also love that EOS shave cream is priced under $5 each! Love that!

Essie Speed Setter top coat review

I am so excited to talk about the new Essie Speed Setter top coat that just launched this month! As you know, I love to paint my nails. I often change my nail color, and enjoy playing with new colors. This can be a time consuming habit as I am also an extremely busy Mom!

With three kids, who have three sets of activities, and one of which I homeschool, I have my hands full. The last thing I have time to deal with, is a messed up manicure. After I paint my nails, I need to be able to get moving! Essie’s new Speed Setter top coat is a total game changer for me! It literally speed dries my mani! Love that!

The new Essie Speed Setter top coat not only speed dries my nails, it offers a high gloss shine which adds a bit of luxury to my nails. It also helps my nail polish last longer without chipping. This is key since my nails take a beating from house-cleaning, and being constantly on the go! You know the type of “on the go” I mean; when you don’t have time to take a breath or charge your phone! I literally have a case full of portable phone chargers to get me through life! haha

I’m in love with the new Essie Speed Setter top coat since it dries and hardens my mani in under one minute. I can continue with my life, and keep my kids on schedule; without worrying about my manicure chipping, smudging, or getting fabric imprints! (fabric imprints are so annoying!!) Love it!
