The Kendra Scott fall 2017 collection has arrived! As you know, Kendra Scott is one of my favorite jewelry designers. I love her colorful collection which includes pieces designed by inspiration from her travels. When the Kendra Scott store at Santana Row announced they were having a fall 2017 collection kick-off party, I knew I had to attend!

Kendra Scott knows how to throw a party! There was a live DJ playing popular tunes, an Italian Soda Bar, and delicious appetizers. So yummy! I met up with my friend Laura from Have-Need-Want, and we checked out the Kendra Scott fall 2017 collection while enjoying the party. So fun! Somehow we failed to get a picture of us together at the party. Um, #BloggerFail

After the party, we enjoyed a yummy dinner at Left Bank. I tried the Vegetarian Risotto and it was delicious! Highly recommend!!

How beautiful are these bracelets! They are extremely similar to a bracelet from Kendra Scott’s fall 2013 collection which I own in gold. I was thrilled to see them as part of Kendra Scott’s fall 2017 collection since I get a ton of compliments and questions about my gold one. I am tempted to get the updated version in the rose gold and the antique silver. So pretty!!

How divine is this purple-red stone named “Bordeaux Tiger’s Eye!” These statement earrings are hotter then hot for fall. Statement earrings are a big fall 2017 trend, and these earrings fit the bill. I would love a pair for the fall season, and also to wear for upcoming holiday parties!

These earrings are at the top of my Kendra Scott fall 2017 wish list. I want them in silver, and as soon as I get my next paycheck; they will be mine! I already have the silver ring featured in this photo, so when worn together, they will be fabulous!

There is that pretty Bordeaux Tiger’s Eye again! Isn’t is fabulous! I can’t wait to pick a piece out and add it to my collection. The purple-red hue is divine; and a must-have for any jewelry collection. I am in love!

These necklaces are soooooo pretty! I want the one in Ivory Illusion with yellow gold. It is really pretty and easy to wear with any color palette. It can also be worn in any season; it’s another must-have! This necklace also comes in that beautiful Bordeaux Tiger’s Eye. Love!

Kendra Scott has such pretty nail polish! I love all of these metallic colors. One of the nail polish trends for fall 2017 is metallic nails. These colors fit perfectly into the trend! Which color is your favorite?

Summer is throwing us some really warm temperatures this year! We had close to a week of high 90’s and low 100’s here in the San Francisco Bay Area, and it was torture! We went from high 60’s and low 70’s to a heat wave in no time flat. It is hard to go to such high temps without a ramp up period in the 80’s! haha

Since the weather has been so warm, I quickly organized my wardrobe to more of a July/August capsule rather then a “June Gloom” mix of clothing. When the weather is really hot, wearing something modest enough for church can be a challenge. I was so happy to find this spaghetti strap dress, which I am using as a jumper, for the summer season.

This pretty floral jumper is easy to throw over a tee and wear to church on Sundays; or any day of the week! The fabric is lightweight, and the silhouette is breezy. There is even a side slit, which doesn’t go too high, on one side. This makes the jumper easy to wear when temperatures soar. Love that!

For more casual days this summer, I plan to wear this outfit with my Cult Gaia bag and flip flops, or even a small cross body bag such as the Chloe Faye. It will also be good for travel this summer since the fabric doesn’t seem to wrinkle. This is all fabulous considering it was under $50!!

Kendra Scott Santana Row celebrates one year on the row

Kendra Scott is celebrating one year at Santana Row! In order to celebrate their anniversary, the Kendra Scott team threw a fun party which included a gift with purchase if you spent $75 in-store. The gift was a beautiful gold and turquoise bracelet. Love!

In addition to a gift with purchase, from 1pm-4pm last Saturday, Kendra Scott donated 20% of sales to the Junior League of San Jose. If you have been following me for awhile, you might remember I am a Sustainer in the Junior League. It means so much to me that one of my favorite brands is so supportive of a non-profit organization which is near and dear to my heart. Kendra Scott is always giving generously to various charity organizations throughout Silicon Valley, it is so refreshing and inspiring to see a large brand take a keen interest in the community. It makes me want to support them back; and I do!

It was a lot of fun to catch up with many of the ladies I have known through volunteer work for well over a decade at the event. Then, a few minutes after I arrived, my friend Dawn from Fashion Should Fun showed up! Yay! I loved being able to introduce her to my friends from the Junior League. They are all such nice ladies, it was great to be able to introduce everyone.

Although people make the event, Kendra Scott left no stone unturned to throw a fabulous party. There were delicious light bites, yummy donuts, fun fruit juice concoctions, and a DJ. It is entirely possible a few of us were wiggling to the music a little bit. 😉

In addition to the party, there was some shopping to be done! I will always shop when I know it benefits a great charity and also to support a business who supports our community.

These strawberries were so delicious! There was also a light bite which was a mushroom stuffed with crab. Oh my! They were so good!!!

There was a Polaroid station at the event. Dawn and I took a couple of photos. It was so much fun and reminded us of back in the day when we owned Polaroid cameras. I wonder if I still have mine stashed away somewhere?? haha

All in all, the party was so much fun! It was the beginning of our current heat wave, so I wanted to make sure I wore something comfortable. I decided to wear a lightweight, pale pink basic tee with my favorite floral wrap skirt. This skirt by the way, is on major sale! Here are my outfit details:
