The weather is starting to heat up here in the San Francisco Bay Area. This means it is time to adjust what we wear! To stay cool last weekend, I paired this 1970’s inspired denim skirt with my favorite red blouse. I love how the brass buttons on my blouse play well with these Jenny Present earrings and Donald J Pliner wedges. The metals just work.

I have also been extremely excited to get my hands on Kendra Scott’s summer collection, “Via Maya.” I am so excited for the collection, I purchased a couple pairs of earrings, a few rings, a bracelet. . .you see where this is going. Bye-bye paycheck! Every piece is worth every cent. I am in love with her summer line! This ring is my favorite. I bought the ring pictured above in both the brown pearl and abalone shell. I want the white version too; but money doesn’t grow on trees. . .so. . .if you hear of a money growing tree, let me know!

My beautiful eight year old daughter took these pictures. When we were taking pictures, she asked me if she can borrow this ring when she grows up. I think she has quite the eye for fashion! I also think she did a pretty good job taking these photos. She has an artistic eye! What do you think?

Spring has sprung! I love the moderate weather we have been having. It is always nice to enjoy warm weather which hovers in the high 60’s and 70’s. I also love all the blossoms and greenery this time of year. Spring is my favorite season! Since spring is in full swing, it is high time to ensure our wardrobes are prepared for this perfect weather.

The easiest way to update ones’ spring wardrobe is through accessories. I love the spring 2015 collection at the Donald J Pliner shop at Satana Row in San Jose. Donald J Pliner has a wide selection of on-trend shoes and handbags which are perfect for the spring 2015 season. Love that!

The store is full of cool cork, street-smart slip-on sneakers, casual sandals, fabulous wedges (like mine!), and eye catching high heels. It is a one-stop-shop for spring! Perfection 😉

This pair of metallic wedges from Donald J Pliner are my go-to casual shoes for spring. They have an of-the-moment white sole, cool cork wedge, and soft metallic leather. The interior is smooth, soft, and comfortable! I can walk, and stand for hours in these wedges; I can even chase my kids if they run off! A must-have feature for us Moms; fashionable shoes which can double as running shoes! Ha!

These wedges by Donald J Pliner look fabulous with this season’s flare jeans, midi skirts, maxi skirts, mini skirts, shorts, dresses; the list goes on! They look great with everything, let’s just put it that way. 😉
