So many beautiful bags! My handbag wish list is long, as always! haha So, I narrowed it down to the top six I would like to see added to my wardrobe in 2024. Let’s see if I can do it! ha!
I am looking at the bags on my handbag wish list and thinking they look like fall colors, but the doctor bag is actually a spring handbag. The dark green tote is a beautiful shade of green, but if a softer color comes in for spring, I might invest in a different hue. I just love the tote bag itself; I am not too picky about color.
See that beautiful, light beige satchel? It’s actually large, soft and floppy. It sells out quickly so I am not sure I will get my hands on one, but right now I am admiring it in photographs. If you snap one up, let me know! It’s gorgeous!
You may have noticed, I have been eyeing this small, black tote bag for quite some time. Hopefully I can snag one soon! Of course, this brown shoulder bag and this black hobo are also calling my name. So, choosing is hard! Which would you pick up first?

As we move into the new year, handbag trends are about the same. We are looking at investment handbags, no loud logos, high quality materials and craftsmanship, and timeless style. I am all about investment dressing! Love it!
What is on your handbag wish list as we move into the new year?
This is a beautiful time in handbag history. Since the anonymous handbag is thriving, we have been blessed with many handbag brands who not only concentrate on high quality and craftsmanship, but they also keep their designs free from loud logos and flair. Many of these beautiful bags speak for themselves and are priced fairly instead of priced for a label. This is beautiful because we, as the consumer, have a large range of handbags to choose from which are not only timeless, but are hotter than hot; and priced under $1000. Love that!
Some of my favorite luxurious handbags priced under $1000 include Coach, Mansur Gavriel, and Demellier. In addition, there are luxury brands with a few handbag styles we can snag for under $1000. These brands include Mulberry and Tory Burch.
As we move into 2024, handbag trends are still logo-less, with clean lines, high quality materials, and impeccable craftsmanship. Handbags should be timeless, and blend into your wardrobe for years to come; not just one season. We will continue to look for handbags in neutral hues which can withstand the test of time, and brands which have a good quality reputation in 2024.
The handbag styles which will be important in 2024 include shoulder bags, east/west totes, north/south totes, satchels, lady bags, doctor bags, and hobo bags. Look for soft leather, floppy silhouettes, and structure. There is a lot of leeway when it comes to handbag styles! Go for what fits your lifestyle and taste. Love that!

Love that!

This makes them not only classic, but good investments. Think of the reduced cost-per-wear when you can keep a bag in rotation for years and years; even decades! Amazing!

Coach Swinger Bag: This cute little bag is a reissue of a popular style from Coach’s glove tanned leather heyday. It is made from Coach’s modern version of glove tanned leather and offers a short and long strap, giving the bag versatility. It has proven to be extremely popular, so much so, that Coach has trouble keeping black in stock! Don’t worry, if black is sold out you can go on a wait list, it restocks fairly quickly. I have had mine for a few years now and the leather gets better with time; just like back in the day! I find it to be great for travel and everyday use. My review is here. Mansur Gavriel Bucket Bag: This is a classic daytime bag which has been popular for a decade now. You no longer have to go on a waitlist to grab a bag, but that doesn’t diminish the popularity of this handbag. The bucket bag is still hot and it is a classic style. The leather and craftsmanship are high quality and will withstand the test of time. While it may scratch initially, the scratches blend into the leather giving it a beautiful patina over time, much like glove tanned leather. This is a handbag for investors and those who know quality.
Chloe Marcie Cross Body bag: This cutie has been around for roughly two decades and is still hotter than hot. While the satchel version is twice the price, you can snap up the cross-body for under $2000. The cross-body version is available in multiple sizes and a large range of colors. You cannot go wrong investing in the Chloe Marcie! The leather is beautiful as well as the craftsmanship. It is a true investment!
Mulberry Amberley: This is my new obsession. My Mulberry wish list a mile long, so I need to buy a lottery ticket and win! haha. Mulberry uses the highest quality leather as well as employs the finest artisans. Not only that, they work hard to be eco-friendly and lower thier carbon footprint. This is an amazing company I can get behind. Make your wish list! But back to the Amberley, this classic shoulder bag has been in thier line for years and makes a fabulous investment handbag.
