New York Fashion Week takes a lot of energy. The first show usually starts at 9am with the last show beginning at 9pm. When I am on the go, I prefer to keep my look simple and fuss-free. This clean look felt perfect on September 7, 2013. The pieces were soft and comfortable.

I loved how Twisted Silver’s new “Grace” necklace brought out the colors in the skirt and made the otherwise simple outfit look finished. As summer winds down and our eyes become accustomed to a fall color palette, it can be a challenge to get dressed in the morning! Here in the San Francisco Bay Area we are seeing cool fog in the morning and warm temperatures in the afternoon. This means we need to wear layers!

I love this beautiful dress from IBISS Boutique located in downtown Willow Glen at 1100 Lincoln Avenue. The 3/4 sleeve dress is made from a lightweight cotton in a beautiful shade of burgundy. The maxi-dress looks like a fall piece yet offers lightweight appeal making it perfect for warm summer days. All I need before the fog burns off is my denim jacket! Love that!

Bracha Boutique in San Carlos, Ca. has so many hidden treasures in store! This bright blue blouse with golden-tone grommets screamed my name when I noticed it at Bracha. The grommets, front zipper and slightly puffy sleeves evoke a 1980’s vibe and rocker chic look; both of which are hot off the runway and very me!

I paired the blouse with my new favorite denim, Rose Royce. To play off of the rocker chic touches on the blouse I wore my studded Prada wedges and Tory Burch leather wrap bracelets to complete the look.
